new york mills regional cultural center

We have stayed there many years and always look forward to coming again. Jann is a wonderful hostess and a great cook. The railroad cars have been lovingly restored into beautiful private cars that anybody would enjoy staying. The old Victorian house also has several rooms in railroad theme and are quite comfy and cozy. You won't go wrong staying there.

They had a lot of information about fishing in the area and had a nice display of fishing lure's. They also had some old ice houses for fishing, and fly fishing rods. The women working at the desk was very helpful, and told us a lot about the town of New York Mills.

We really went in to find things to do in the area as well as dining. They were very helpful and recommended the Cactus restaurant. which we went and it was great as well

The exhibits here are ever changing. What a lovely treasure in this cute town. Staff is always cheerful and helpful. In addition to the art and exhibits there is a wonderful gift shop.

You can not even imagine the fun of staying in this train for an evening. It was a unique experience to stay in this refurbished train car from the turn of the century. Everything was decorated perfectly down to the last detail. The sauna was a surprise as well as the jacuzzi tub, and the wonderful breakfast delivered to our train car. We stayed in the Viking car, but there are others to choose from, the Imperial, the Palace and the Cozy Caboose. You can choose to stay in the house that follows the train theme in every suite.You can not go wrong. It is a wonderful experience.

the people in NYM should be proud of the cultural center. they offer a lot in the arts promoting local artist, bringing in artists from elsewhere. Great place
