Awesome hiking trails, cross-country skiing in the winter. Campsites available. Quiet, family friendly. Mississippi River access. Tour the Boyhood Home of Charles A. Lindbergh, the first person to successfully fly Solo across the Atlantic Ocean, back in 1927! His house and the Interpretive Center are educational and informative. Fun for all ages.

Sites could be a little more private but nice location and quiet. Stayed for two nights in September.

I visited this park a couple of times for day trips this summer with my dog and once with my fiancee. We hiked a few of the trails and looked at the cart in campsites. Although I haven't stayed overnight here yet, the cart in campground as well as the drive in campground looked like a very nice facility. They had bathrooms with showers in the drive in campground as well hookups for RVs. The cart in sites were right on a small stream and had kayak/canoe access to the river. The hiking trails also had historical points with signs telling about the history of the area which are interesting to read. Overall, I really enjoy coming to this State Park.

Stayed 2 days with my wife and dog in our pop up camper. First off, the park rangers were super friendly and helpful. The campsites were clean and quiet. The campground was a mix of families and couples. The bathrooms and showers were nice and clean. Despite lots of rain this season, the mosquitos were no worse here than in the cities. We did not explore any of the trails as we just wanted to sit and relax, but this is a great facility.

When people think of Charles A. Lindbergh they think of the first person to fly over the Atlantic. Well not a lot of people may realize his (semi) humble roots in Little Falls MN. Enclosed in the park is a great hiking club trail that has a lot of great information on his early flights and crash that all took part on this property once owned by Lindbergh himself. Imagine he once walked these same paths that you too can walk. Great views of Pike Creek and tons of wildlife.
