winnipesaukee pier

Went here mid Oct. Nearly everywhere was closed as the season was over, but it was still very nice with some great views of the lake, and nice photo opportunities. Plenty of parking though would expect it to be at a premium during the busy season.

What a lively nightspot! The pier is brightly lit, parking is metered, and plenty of family friendly things to do. Plenty of dining options from slices of pizza to oysters on the half shell.

We enjoyed walking around but the shops and arcades are better suited for the younger crowd. The view of the lake is a nice one.

The pier has just become run down, trashy and a waste of time. The arcade used to be a ton of fun, with decent prizes and great games. Our on visit this week about 40% or less of the games were in working order. Some games didn't even say out of order and were broken or missing parts to play the games. The prizes were so old and anything worth getting was over 150 tickets. There were very few people there, probably because it is so poorly taken care of. What a shame, it used to be the best arcade in Weirs Beach. The t-shirt shop was having a great sale 2 for 10 for all of your bike week or white trash needs. Don't bother walking down, your kids will be so disappointed!!
