If you can manage a week day it would be even better. The weekends are always packed but there's usually enough to do where you don't have to wait in line to long.

I took my grandkids (12 & 15) here and they enjoyed it because they've never been to a water park this big. I'm older but not a stick in the mud -- I'm always ready for fun. But two things really bothered me here. First, the food was outrageously expensive and was barely edible. We paid $45 for three chicken sandwiches (which were the molded chicken patties that don't even look or taste like chicken) and three soft drinks. It was disgusting. The second issue was the loud and blaring music. I understand about wanting to appeal to the younger crowd, but there was no where in the park to escape from it. The music was uniformly loud no matter where, you, were. After a day of being blasted, I felt as if I'd been assaulted. When I first arrived, I thought this might not be a bad place to come with my husband to get some sun and, enjoy the water, but after spending a day there, I will never go back.

I enjoyed my first visit last summer. It is a great place for tourists and locals to hang out and have some fun in the sun. The lines are often time consuming and it can get quite pricey if you are attending with a group of people. I recommend looking for coupons or promotions online before purchasing a ticket. The parking fee is pricey. Overall it appeared to be a safe, clean water park where people can spend time with family and friends.

Went here in the middle of Summer and had a lot of fun. So many rides, the wait times were not overly long and drink prices were average. Overall, the park was clean and well kept I was really impressed. Only issue was locker storage, a little pricey and it wasn't clear that there were a lot available all around the park.

This is a great place to come and bring the family for a water adventure! I do recommend that you bring extra money to invest in a locker ($8-$15) since it is well worth it! Also, sometimes you are able to end up with an extra tube...skip investing in another tube...you usually end up with someone's left over tube later on AND it is just one extra hassle you have to deal with! There is enough fun without it! Another thing...for those of you who don't want the bottom of your feet burned, wear water shoes! We have had good and bad experiences with flip flops. If you wear them, yes your feet are protected, but in order to ride it is a pain to make that many trips to the locker since all of the rides are water rides! A great place to bring the whole family AND great location being right across the street from Six Flags Over Texas! If you have the time and income, try both amusement parks over a 2 day period! Loads of family fun!!

There is a good variety of attractions in the park, however, as it is sometimes overcrowded, the water gets somewhat unclean, given the high number of people. It is and ok waterpark, but better options are available in DFW.

We had a really great time with friends at Hurricane Harbor. They have so many rides and it was a really hot day so we appreciated the water. We spent the day before at Six Flags park and man it was hot but fun. Now we are cool and fun. We love the lazy river and spent a lot of time there. We closed the park down and had a blast!

Its been a few years since I went to Hurricane Harbor and I really like the park expansion. They added some really great rides to the Eastern part of the park and it really helps thin the crowds. There are lots of tables so we had no trouble finding a place to make "home base". The food was pricey but pretty good. We got the family pizza and soda special and it was a good value. We stayed all day as there was plenty to do. A season pass to six flags is a must as it includes this park. We did both parks in two days so the season pass saved us lots of money. We will be back!

We had a great day at hurricane harbor. We went on Sept. 14 and it was perfect timing because the weather was great and it wasn't crowded. We usually go earlier in the year and the lines are a lot longer. We even were able to enjoy the lazy river because it wasn't packed and it was clean. We rode most of the rides. I had a 10 year old and 7 year old with me and they rode almost everything and had a great time. Only complaint was that the line at the black hole was slow because only one was open. We will visit again in September!!

We got season passes for HH and Six Flags with parking for 60 pp. if you plan to go more than once, you might ck the current season pass price. Great area for the 4 and under set. The lines for the big rides are pretty quick first thing but can get fairly long by mid morning. Bring water shoes, the ground gets hot! You might bring your eon swim rings, it costs about the same to buy at Wally World as rent and HH will let you use the air compressor free to blow them up.

AWESOME! Wasn't crowded. Very clean including Men's Restroom. Sufficient staff was everywhere and very friendly and patient with little ones. Lots to eat. Very impressed with cleanliness of the park at this visit.

We have been here a few times over the past 4 years. It is small, but we had a great time. We got there when it opened and it started to get packed around 3, but we were leaving anyways. There was not a smell and we stayed right next to the wave pool. They do need to fix the wave pool-its just a big pool with a ripple of water when they sound the bell. Th burrito place was good but I don't like black beans which turned the rice black, but a good alternative to the fast food.

I am a huge fan of waterparks and thrill rides, but Six Flags Hurricane Harbor was neither. It was a complete disappointment this summer. Three kids came in and left within 1 hour. Filthy facilities and dirty water. I would never return and never recommend. Looking for fun in the DFW metroplex in this category - stick to Hawaiin Falls!
