Fall Creek Vineyard….WOW!!! The name is very demonstrative of the actual scenery! Our first view when pulling into the property on this December morning was a very long drive almost entirely covered with golden pine needles….absolutely gorgeous!James, the tasting room manager, was our host and has a pretty interesting story of his own about his history here at the vineyards. We will let you go for your own visit and ask James directly! :-) James told us that Fall Creek Vineyards produces about 70,000 cases per year, and as we have come to find out, is about the third largest in sales in Texas. They currently plant about 15 acres, with their only estate grown wine being the Lenoir Rose’ (gosh, did I get that right, James?). Otherwise they source their grapes almost entirely out of Texas, and we’d say that’s a lot of grapes for 70,000 cases! James also informed us that they were the 1st vineyards in Texas, starting in 1975!We believe this would be a lovely place to come in the springtime when all the vines are flowering. Must be amazing! Why don’t you plan a visit and then leave us a note below and let us know your opinion. We would love to hear from you! And don’t forget to ask James to tell you his history at Fall Creek Vineyards!!Visited Dec 2013.

We stopped in on a Saturday afternoon and we were pleasantly surprised. The drive was beautiful and the grounds very picturesque. We enjoyed both the tour and tasting. The staff was fantastic, really made you feel welcome. We will definitely be back. It's a great place for an afternoon picnic.

A bit out of the way, but each time I've been here I have had a wonderful experience. The staff has been a hoot! The wine is good, as long as you don't put it up against the best CA stuff. I think the wine is priced fairly, which is not always the case for boutique vineyards.

What can I say? This winery makes you feel welcome and unlike so many other wineries in the Hill Country, the staff here are kind, knowledgable and really care about you as the customer. They will go out of their way to answer your questions. Best of all, these wines are priced reasonably and excellent. Even done to the least expensive....Twin Springs and Ed's Smooth Red! Good job Fall Creek! Keep it up!

Dropped by the winery this past Tues. at 4:30, not realizing they close at 5:00. There was one couple already sampling, but we were welcomed in and at no time did we feel rushed to leave. Tasted about 9 wines after purchasing small wine glasses for about $6 each--a bargain in our opinion. Loved the European feel of the vineyard (even though it was too cold to walk around much). James offered to snap a photo of us outside...very thoughtful. Left with 3 bottles of wine and husband doesn't even like wine...until now!

One of the best vineyards in this part of Texas! Not only are all the wines made from Texas grapes but the prices are fantastic. Can't say enough about our host, James, who regaled us with stories and wine facts...an all around stand-up comedian who makes the wine tasting a delightful experience. Beautiful site, get a bottle and relax on the patio ( even possible at the end of December!) And if you join their wine club, your tastings are free! A must stop for any wine lovers.

Several generations of the same family have ranched this land and for the last 40 or so years, have produced wine here. A beautiful tasting room and a very European lane surrounded by mature Cypress trees add to a visit. Their wines are very reasonably priced and Fall Creek offers variety and quality. I would recommend a visit to Fall Creek, but perhaps avoid the hottest summer months.

My husband and I visited this vineyard first. We did have to stand to sample. However we got 10 samples. Our favorite was the Sweet Red and I'll be shocked if you don't like it too. However James was amazing. He had such a knowledge and love for the vineyard. We asked several questions and he had quick answers. Turns out we had a lot in common. He is really nice. The location - once you drive up - is like out of a movie. We took tons of photos. It's a little hidden but it's worth the drive and the scenic view.

We never visited this vineyard, but this weekend we ordered the EDs Smooth red wine at a resort in Burnet, Texas. It is the sweetest nicest red wine ever. I am not a wine drinker. I tend to get headaches, but not this one. We had 2 bottles at our table of 8 every night with dinner for 3 nights. Very very nice. Can't wait to visit the vineyard. I got home ordered 12 bottles for the house. Needless to say the resort charges were so high per bottle...

We hit up Fall Creek on a Friday after the Independence Day Holiday. I got the sense that they didn't think it would be crowded as they only had one server working that morning. This is the only thing that keeps me from giving 4 or 5 starts. Just one server? Really? But, our server James did a bang up job despite being by himself. He definitely had a system going and even though he was busy he took the time to explain each wine we tasted. We found that we liked a few of their offerings a lot and others not so much. But hey, that's the way it is with wine. The location reminded me of Napa Valley and was very picturesque. They tasting room and patio were very well appointed. I plan on visiting again when I'm in the area.

My sister and I enjoyed our day at Fall Creek Vineyards. We tasted 6 different wines, did a tour of the winery, had some cheese & crackers with our wine and met some really nice folks. The setting for the vineyard is quiet & peaceful. Large trees line the entry way and the courtyard is surrounded by flowers and makes a beautiful setting to enjoy a glass of wine. We have found a new favorite wine - Ed's Smooth Red. So good! We took home a couple of bottles and have enjoyed many since then! I highly recommend it!

We attended an event that the winery hosted. We took a tour bus through the area for a short trip to the falls featured on their label, including lunch, dessert, and their wine. We had a fabulous time. We found several white wines that we really liked. Staff was very nice and offered excellent service (Texas hospitality for sure). The vineyard itself, tasting room, and patio were all very lovely. We will definitely return to the area and Fall Creek Vineyards.

We got a late start on driving to Tow from Austin. We made it to the vineyards 30 minutes before closing and the ladies there, still gave us a tour of the vineyard. We did a tasting, had a cheese plate and a glass of wine and took home a couple of bottles. They have some excellent wines and great ladies behind bar pouring and educating you on their wines. We had a great time with our son and his wife, it was definitely worth the drive. Thank You Ladies at Fall Creek for being so cordial and accomodating!

We were staying at a campground nearby and went to the winery for a bit. I've never been to a winery or tasting so I have nothing to compare but I had a good time. We tasted seven different wines and when trying to decide what wine to buy, we were offered more tastes. The cost for the tasting is $6.00 or $12.00, depending on which glass you get. I'm not a big wine person, but i lean to more of the red, sweet ones - which during the tasting I had decided I was taking some of these home - yummy! We bought 2 different kinds, one costing $5.99 and the other $9 or $10, so they were reasonably priced, I thought. We went on the tour, which took about 10 minutes. The staff was very friendly and the place was clean. The area looked a little brown and dry, but nothing can be helped by that but a little, or a lot of rain. I'll go again when in the area.

We took a two day Wine Tasting trip around the Marble Falls area and visited Fall Creek Winery. We enjoyed the wine and the winery - brought some home with us!
