I knew this could either be cute and quaint or pretty pathetic- unfortunately I found it more like the latter. I didn't find anything particularly local or specific to the Shenandoah Valley here- everything seems to be imported from elsewhere.

A giant place. Has all kinds of little shops. Antiques, toys, quilts, furniture, etc. Could stay in this place for hours. Great place to visit and reasonably priced items.

This market has a little of everything. Kitchen goods, foods/cheeses, gifts, antiques, horse tack/western wear, quilts, toys, and more. It was a fun stop to browse around and pick up some local items in.

I stop by here every couple of years while traveling in the area. I brought friend with me this time and we had do much fun on day one of our trip we made a second stop. Grandma's Pantry and the Country Cannery always have delightful treats to snow and bring home

So many interesting things to see here! Our group included males and females with ages ranging from 15 to 61. Everyone was happy! Beautiful jewelry at great prices. Great food at The Hungry Farmer. Lots of gifts and antiques and just really cool unique stuff. All the people working at the shops were super nice and accommodating. A wonderful experience and highly recommended!

Overall, pretty typical, except for two stops. There is Grandma's Kitchen at the far end that has exceptional value for many kitchen staples, spices, pasta, flour, rice, etc. And outside there is the best kettle corn ever. Worth a stop for just those two.

There just might be a bit of something for everyone at this unique market. A very "different" kind of toy store, military flags, hats, etc, US flag, Rebel flags, State Flags, just about any kind of flag you would want. Cowboy hats, saddles, a candy store, resturant, handmade quilts, antiques. I was not disappointed with this Market.

Everything was expensive. The kitchen shop was interesting, but the Country Cannery was great. We tasted all sorts of jams and bought some. We came back later in the week and purchased more.

I have been here several times. It is a must stop everytime I am in Harrisonburg. This is a large building with all kinds of different types of shops under its roof. You have a great antique store here with pretty good prices. There are quilts at prices that are affordable, A kitchen gadget shop with everything under the sun. There is a book store, toy store, military shop, & a gift store. There is a great jelly shop that sells every flavor you can imagine and some you have never even thought of. You can taste each and every flavor. All the jellies are made right there in the store by the Mennonites. There is a shop at the end that sells stuff in bulk, like all different kinds of candies, mixes, cheeses, cheese spreads, gluten free stuff etc. It a great store. Outside the building is a guy that makes kettle corn & Fresh lemonade. Also a fresh fruit and vegi Market. This is a place if you have the time I'd stop at. It's right of 1-81 just south of the exit you take for JMU.

We stopped here on a road trip because of a sign we saw on the highway and so glad we did! There are all kinds of shops nestled into a large well landscaped property with everything from saddles to cheese. That's why we were there... For the food! We were able to get delicious breads cheeses and Lebanon bologna and fresh peaches. Well worth the stop! Will definitely be going back!

Great place to browse and shop. Great cheese place with bulk goodies. This shop has excellent pimento cheese spread. Great pecan fried pies at the cannery shop.

We went here the first night of our recent trip to Massanutten resort. It was on a list for local shopping and we needed some things to do inside out of the cold. We looked around for a short time and then ate at the hungry farmer cafe. We weren't expecting the food to be that great, but it was actually very good. We got some baked goods there at the cafe to take back to our rental house and some jellies from the canning place to take home. We would recommend it for a quick tourist stop.

Stop here for a quick bite of lunch and some shopping. The Country Canner is GREAT for jams, preserves, and pie fillings ... awesome as gifts and perfect to save some time during the holidays. I love that the items are made without unnecessary preservatives or chemicals! The dry goods store next door is great if you are looking for candy or anything for baking. There is a kitchen store that has EVERYTHING you might want for the kitchen and a bunch of cute stuff too! As for the "civil war" stores, I don't go in those types of stores; I cannot fairly review them.

The antiques were nice and quite interesting. However, after walking into the bookstore and seeing the blatantly racist offerings, my mother, sister and I decided to leave immediately.

A neat place with food, civil war artifacts, antiques and numerous crafts all under one roof. Some items are a little pricey but the variety makes up for it. The bulk food store also has a large choice of snacks, cheese, meats and speciality cooking ingredients. We spent several hours here and plan to return on our next trip to Va.
