Amazing historical landmark..the homeplace of the Reynolds Tobacco Family restored and available for tours. Located on the property as well is a Learning Center...complete with a gallery that rotates fine art, classrooms for arts & crafts classes for adults and children, a college for older adults, a grower's academy, special music and theatre events, movie and a dinner events, and so much more and they are always adding new activities. I have taken classes on growing mushrooms (got my own log!), alcohol ink, yoga, attended the Bushels & Barrels Food, Wine and Beer festival, walked the trails, attended the Victorian Christmas...so many more and I have NEVER been disappointed. The classes and events are always first class, the food amazing and the staff gracious and knowledgeable. You could plan an entire week of your vacation around this wonderful facility.
