empower leadership sports & adventure center

Dan and the crew at Empower offered our company a memorable experience! What is nice, is that it is structured for every skill level. Our group felt safe, secure and most of all entertained! There are definitely some areas where one's athleticism is put to the test. The scavenger hunt was also awesome. When thinking about your next Team building event, look no further than Empower!!!

I went with a couple friends to celebrate a milestone birthday. The facility was easy to find and clean, the staff was friendly and funny, and the course was exhilarating. We did the zip line tour and it went by very quickly. I would recommend adding on the canopy plus tree climbs to make a full morning or afternoon out.

We were four middle aged woman looking for something fun to do. I was the only one who had ziplined before. One of the four was afraid of heights. All 4 of us loved empower ziplining! It was a beautiful fall day and we were 7.5 stories up in the trees. You are 100% safe and led by excellent guides. It is fun as well as a challenge that leaves you feeling accomplished. I can't believe they've been here for 9 years! Go.

This is the second time I been ziplining and it was really fun. We had Lucas and Chris and they were great. The ziplining course had a "challenge obstacle." We got to choose from a cargo net and tight rope or go over two bridges. I chose to do the bridges. They were harder (mentally) than I thought and Lucas helped me get across talking me through it. We also had a few people who were afraid and Lucas helped to talk them through their fear. Everyone in our tour group got through the course despite their fears. The guides took pictures of us while on the course and the company puts them online for guest to download for FREE.

Came here for the Halloween zipline and boy was it a blast! Going here is like a vacation getaway doing something so fun! staff was great! they educated all of us and away we went. It was cool to go ziplining at night with spooky lights. too bad the halloween dressed up guys weren't too scary (I could see how some people wouldn't be able to handle that though). It was more than ziplining. We did the walking on a rope and tree climbing. I had to purchase a tshirt to show off what we did afterwards. Highly recommend!

I have participated in the zip line course a few times and it has been fun and exciting each time. Joe and all of the staff are supportive and friendly. It is a great team building experience. They were patient and encouraging with my nephew who started out timid but by the end wanted to do it all again. We also went at night for the Halloween thrills and had a blast. This is definitely a great adventure right in Middletown.

My office went to Empower on 9/27 for a team building adventure and we had a blast! Becky, Dan, Joe and Kyle were all awesome, patient and very supportive. We had so much fun doing the canopy zip lining tour and the crew made all of us feel so comfortable. They were so caring with anyone who needed a little extra TLC! I would recommend Empower very highly! I am looking forward to going back with my family!! So happy I did the cargo net/tightrope section :)

Even though it was not my first time zip lining, it always feels like it is. Had another great experience at Empower. Surrounded by people you have never met and by the end of the event, you are almost best friends. Great for team building or just challenging yourself to try something different. Dan and Jen are terriffic!

But I have to admit, I did get scared.Great place to try ziplining for the first time. There are 5 lines, some longer than others. The guides were great and took care of the group of 10 of us at all times! Very well run place.

This was a really fun activity and it is good for any age! There was a 75 year old woman in our group. The guides were very knowledgeable, friendly and their number one concern was our safety. They are also great if someone is struggling - very patient and they didnt make them feel stupid or "less than". We had a great time and would definitely return. Next time we will try some if the other activities.

Zip lines are fun, the staff is professional and fun, the cooperative games teach far more than a classroom.

I saw the Moonlight Zip-line tour online while researching our road trip from NY to Cape Cod. When I called ahead to get some details, Dan was so enthusiastic that I booked it right then! Despite the cloudy sky (no moon) and slight drizzle, the tour went on and the guides revved us all up for an awesome time! We got glow sticks, helmets, and harnesses. Everything was explained and the guides were awesome about keeping up moral when fear got a hold of you, as well as catching you when you came in super fast on the zip, and even going back out on the line to "rescue" someone that didn't have quite enough momentum!In the end I was wet, cold, and bruised AND ELATED! I am so glad we went and we will totally be doing more adventures soon. Only downside was there are no photo ops during the night tour (the waiver mentions photo release because they take pics while you zip) and I was not brave enough to bring my cell phone or camera up.

I did this great zip lining and climbing experience with my 20 year old sons and we had a blast. The leaders are very thorough and careful but also friendly, cheerful and jovial. They moved with us at our pace and we were pretty quick to our own surprise. For us, the course was not extremely difficult or challenging but mostly just good fun.
