This is an awesome store that truly does have something for everyone. We've been there several times in the past year and just love it!!! Prices are reasonable and selection is amazing!
Something for everyone says it all. The building is large and set up inside more like a flea market with stalls, but not separate vendors or anything like that. There is just a lot of stuff. Wall art. Toys. Puzzles. T-shirts. Collectables. Luggage and handbags. Just a lot of stuff. The usual souvenir things, like caps and refrigerator magnets and shot glasses. Wind chimes and spinners, too. Good selection, and a nice place to spend a little time out of the car.
I enjoyed looking at all the great merchandise. . .spend a couple of hours in there. Something for everyone but quite expensive.
silly Me. I included both the Gift store, and the candy shop/ gasoline station, in My previous review. I see the two as interchangeable. Both are worthy of a visit
We saw the signs counting down the miles. We thought it was going to be a tourist place. They have the nicest things. If we lived closer we would shop here. Worth stopping and looking around.
They had so many neat gifts there from all price ranges! I will be hitting it up again before we leave Mo!
We're not real shoppers and would not have stopped here except for the candy 'factory' next door. It was kinda fun seeing all of this stuff together. Lots of tee shirts, some Missouri made stuff, but a lot of stuff from china. Was very clean, uncluttered, and displayed well. Some fun items such as ball caps with hair for those with follicle challenges. Name brand knick knacks too. Best of all, You won't have to go to another gift shop while in Missouri!
It is a huge building with huge writting and makes everyone stop. it is next to the worlds largest candy store so we stopped. it is a craft store with different crafters that have rented out. booth in this place for their stuff. we bought nothing
This place is a joke. There is a huge sign that says it opens at 10 and the door says it opens at 10, but it actually opens when they feel like opening. There were about 5 cars waiting to go in. Two workers went in at about 10. One came out and swept the sidewalk and at 10:18 he came over to our SUV and said we aren't opening until 11 and went inside. He did not even go over to the other cars and tell them.
We stop here once a year near Thanksgiving when we go through town, and it has become a tradition. We love the variety, and the prices are usually pretty good. We always find something we want to buy for someone for Christmas. It is basically a combination flea market and souvenir shop. We also always visit the huge candy shop next door for unique candy. Lots of fun!
Went with my family here. Enjoyed it a lot, so many unique things! Its not a souvenir shop just a gift store for you, your friends and family. I suggest stopping and taking a look, pretty neat things inside :)
Stopped there on our way back from Branson and was excited to see what made it the World's Largest Gift Store. They had a ton of stuff but a lot of it was stuff I had seen everywhere else. Nothing too special or unique. Found something that I actually wanted to buy and was excited to see that it had a sale tag on it. However, when the salesperson rang it up, it came up full price which was 3 times what the sale tag stated. I asked her why it was the full price and was told that someone must have switched the tags and they couldn't honor the price because they can't control people putting the wrong price on items. I work in retail and if something is priced wrong, we honor the price because it is not the customers fault that it is priced wrong! The salespeople were rude and made it sound like it was my fault that it was mispriced! I still bought it because I had already told the person that I was getting it for that I was getting it and even then the salesperson was rude and short with me! I will NEVER stop there again and would caution you going there too! Save your money and time!!!
It's huge all right and it contains thousands and thousands of items. Many are decorative items and it is a little repetitive. All in all not a bad stop but don't linger too much.
I stop at anything that says it's "The Worlds Biggest." I was expecting to experience a huge store filled with gift shop stuff (millions of refrigerator magnets, souvenir caps and t-shirts, silly signs, jams and jellies to take home, postcards and other gift shop stuff). However, rather than a "gift shop" this is indeed what the name says...it's a gift store. It is basically a large warehouse filled with items one would buy to decorate a home or garden. It has a few gift shop items (a few caps and a few t-shirts) but it is mainly just a store for selling anything and everything. Nothing is particularly interesting or unusual. Unless one is in the market to guy a gift for someone's house, there is really no need for the traveler, who is in the look-out for unusual attractions, to stop here.
