Such a nice little park to spend a spring or summer day! Many summer nights, you can bring your lawn chair, a cooler and kick back and listen to a local band playing music :-) Sometimes we load up the little kids just to go and play on their playground equipment and to splash around in the creek or take a little hike. My FAVORITE activity is fishing though. Although I can't say I've actually caught anything (except in the Joachim Creek - under the bridge in the park)... I HAVE seen other people catch catfish, which leaves me always hopeful! lolWe've had many a family reunion here. The pavilions are nice, big and clean. There are nice sized bbq pits - but it's nice to call and reserve a spot because on weekends, they're full. There are places to play croquet and baditton or volleyball (bring your own gear, of course). Oh and if you're in the area around the Fourth of July, you really want to see their fireworks bash and join in the party! For many events, food is offered for sale and so is alcohol. You're always welcomed to bring your own though :-)
