sand creek winery

We had to make a stop back to this winery, the last time we were there the owner was great and gave us more samplings than the 5 for $5 we paid for. This time we were back for two bottles of their sweeter varieties! The Becky's Blush is one of our favorites! Thanks Again!

This winery was given good reviews and recommended by my co-workers. But I was so disappointed that I would not recommend this winery to anyone. While the winery itself is very pretty and the drive was pleasant, the service was terrible. I will say it was a Saturday and they were busy. However, the woman that waited on us was very unpleasant. I am used to being greeted with a smile and some small conversation. We got none of that from her. She did not even explain any of the wines. She just looked at us and said well do you know what you want. We felt as though we were bothering her and she was more interested in the other patrons .This was the worst experience I have had at a winery.

I thought the winery was terribly expensive for a hole in the wall. The drinks weren't that good and the service was something to be desired. I will never go here again and won't recommend it to anyone.

The wines are great and the people are too! We always feel welcome and enjoy ourselves. Can't say enough good about this place!

This winery was an unexpected surprise. We stopped here unexpectedly and glad we did ! The wines were great, the setting quiet, and the owners very friendly and helpful.

I have come to love Sand Creek Vineyard and winery. The owners Dave and Lisa are the best. They make you feel as part of the local crowd that visits the winery. Sand creek is a very friendly down to earth winery. It is great when they stay open later than the rest of the wineries in there area. It is always nice to make the last stop on the trail just to relax and take in the views. The patrons there are always nice and friendly making one feel part of the group. As many times as we have been there we feel part of the winery especially when you know a lot of the patrons by name. Dave and Lisa have become our friends and we always look forward to day trips to Farmington.

This is a small winery with a winemaker that serves his patrons and makes them feel at home. These are good Missouri wines and the price is right. There is a nice patio to enjoy a glass of the wine. Pizza and sandwiches are served.

Wine was really good!!! Music and a party out side or relax inside either way a must do stop off on the wine trail!

My husband and I have been to Sand Creek Winery quite a few times. It's only 10 min. from our house. This is a great place to kick back, relax, enjoy the scenery, the wine, the music and the atmosphere. The owners of this place are some of the nicest people you'd ever want to meet. I disagree that Vance Winery in Fredericktown is better. The two are completely different wineries with totally different atmospheres. In my opinion, Vance is more upscale, with the white piano in the main seating area(which is way too loud...maybe it's the acoustics), whereas at Sand Creek, you have a very laid back type of atmosphere....the place where you would just want to be, take off your shoes, get up and dance to some great music (Matt Weyand), a great place just to hang out, meet up with some friends, make new ones, raise a glass and just enjoy.

Love this place! Wine and beer great. Occasionally have food which is really good. The only place better is Vance Vineyards in Fredericktown.

Attractive facility with good wines. We were fortunate to spend over an hour with the owner/wine maker. He was very informative and friendly. He has built the property himself...........the view over the "countryside" is beautiful. Definitely a recommended stop.
