Losing the old Tiger Stadium for a new, commercially named stadium was traumatic for Tiger fans. Now we understand why we needed to move on and bring our baseball team into stadium worthy of champions. We love Comerica Park. It is all about a great family experience, a good time and STILL retains the history of pure baseball. Go Tigers!!!
There are plenty of shops and restaurants inside, plus two kiddie rides for the -- well, kiddies. It's a lot of fun, whether for a game or a concert.
I've been to several Tigers games here. Not a bad seat in the entire house. You can bring in water bottles in a small bag. We always buy about 8-10 of the small bottles and freeze half of them. The park has a separate line for bags. On a hot game day you will be glad you brought them. They sell for about 4-5 bucks a bottle in the stadium if you dont!! There are few shaded seats so trust me you'll be glad you brought your own water. I recommend sunscreen in the spring and summer. A hat and sunglasses. Check the weather. If there are chances of rain bring a poncho or umbrella. These are expensive in the stadium. Plenty to do inside (Tiger carousel, pictures, pitchers speed tester, small baseball ferris wheel). Scalpers always selling tickets on blocks leading to stadium. Awesome place with reasonably priced seats to watch one of America's greatest teams! Go Tigers!!!
What is not to like at Comerica Park, just the smell of the vendors when you walk in is enough to drive you into a food coma. Good beer, great baseball. I love it here.
Comerica park is a great place to catch a ball game. Kind of expensive. Be prepared to do a lot of walking. Especially if u want to save money on parking. The food is ok. All of the seats are good. Even the cheap nose bleed section! Lots of giveaways for kids. And the tigers usually win!
This ballpark rocks as it has something for everyone. I was even able to find some gluten free options. The staff is amazing especially with someone who has special needs like my Dad. I would recommend this park to EVERYONE.
Comerica Park sits in a prime location, surrounded by the theaters, excellent restaurants, and churches. It is a big league "experience", as the city revives itself. The city is not dead, but it exudes life with fine dining, entertainment and great people. You won't go wrong coming to Comerica Park, in Detroit or better known to the natives "The D", where the Mayor cares and loves the city he lives and works in.
This is a beautiful stadium. Lots of parking close by. Also very close to several great resturantsOfcourse there nothing better than a ballpark Frank.
Beautiful stadium. We have a family tradition to go every year. Fun for the grandsons and they loved being able to go on the field and run the bases after the game.
One of the best ballparks I have ever seen. Goooo Tigers! Lots of fun things to see and so and great restaurants nearby. There really isn't a bad seat in the place.
We go to Comerica park a few times during baseball season. You can see from any seat,. We love their hotdogs and peanuts. This is a true big league baseball experience! There is nothing like experiencing a Tiger game at Comerica Park
Comerica Park is of course home for the Detroit Tigers baseball team, and going down to the park for a ball game is a 3 or 4 hour great time to have. From the soda, beer, and cocktails bars, to all the great eateries, the excellent seating arrangement for good viewing no matter where you sit, it's just about as good a professional baseball game experience you can have. There is a large amusement park inside for the kids to play in, surrounded by cafes and eateries, and just walking around the whole, mammoth park, seeing the statues and artwork, is a great stroll to take. And the park is not just for baseball. Top name entertainers hold concerts there, and again, the park serves as a perfect place for a concert experience. The acoustics are great, and the conveniences the park offers makes you comfortable, satiated, and satisfied in every way.
Love The Tigers ! We go to Comerica Park every year and we just love it. We see many of our friends there also, but not like the old Tigers Stadium sorry to see it go have so many great memories there. Comerica Park is a "hoot" to see a good baseball game.
This is a really nice stadium especially Friday night ( fireworks with the city skyline as the backdrop)
Comerica is a first class modern stadium, but having been able to see a number of the other new stadiums around MLB, it would seem like they missed the mark on a few items. My love of old Briggs (Tiger) Stadium still lingers, but all the modern amenities are so nice to enjoy.
