Stop in for a tasting ... The lady doing the samples was so cute and funny . She will make you laugh . Now .... The wine is fabulous too as you will see at your tasting . Cute place with a bar area and cute gifts
We always stop at Elk Mountain Winery (which is next door to Rose's Roadside Diner: fantastic breakfast) Love the names of the wines! We ended up taking home a case. Open every day.
Great taste, beautiful building and interesting information on wine making. Really great tasting wine! Worth the visit to stock up!
A nice range flavors; be sure to bring a sense of humor along with you when you read the labels. Some unique tourist trinkets here also.
I love to be able to taste test the wine before buying. The prices were reasonable too. The winery was easy to find also.
My colleague and I was in the area while on a busniess trip. We decided to stop by to try the wines and we were so happy we did. The wines were amazing and the stories behind the names were funny. Wish this place was closer to home.
They are mostly sweet wines, but we come home with at least 2 cases every time. Our favorites are Jazzy Red and Jackass Red. The blackberry brandy was fantastic, so this time we bought the raspberry. They did have ice wine November 2013. The blueberry is fantastic.
Very nice inside and out. Wine tasting was very nice and had some very nice wines. Gift shop had some very cute things too!
Be sure to ask for Connie if she is available, she made the tasting so enjoyable. We also loved the wine, great stop.
Stopped here on a recent trip to Benezette. Very friendly, accamodating staff. Tasted lots of good wine with cute names and sampled smoked cheeses. We decided on the Horn E Elk, Jackass Red and a Pomegranite wine.
We enjoyed tasting the variety of wines they offered and enjoyed our bottle we purchased. Nice activity for a rainy day.
Great wine! They are anxious to give you samples of wine. The people are friendly and knowledgeable.
We visited the Outlet in Benezette just a few miles from the Elk Country Visitor's Center. It is mostly just a corner of a country store, but what it lacks in size it makes up in good wines with fun names. Our wine hostess (sorry I forgot her name) was very knowledgable and supplied us with an endless (FREE) group of wine tastings to match our request for slightly sweet and mostly wine wines. We took home a variety of bottles to enjoy later.
Fun to get to this one with a bunch of city-girls! Staff was very pleasant & place was clean. Dry wines very good. Didn't try the sweet ones as I don't prefer them. Had some good photo ops with the elk statue outside.
Of the four wineries I toted my friend from California to, this was her favorite. We enjoyed hearing the owner's story, and the wines were good too. Seating on the deck allows visitors to watch the elk if they are around - call ahead to see when.
