green lane nature center

Due to the loss of state funding for many park services the Green Lane Nature Center has closed. However, there are great walking and hiking trails for two legged and four legged hikers. In season, you can rent boats. Anytime, bring your own small boats with small electric motors or PYO. You can fish year round. Scenery is beautiful especially in fall. There are also several local bed and breakfasts. The Perkiomen Trail runs from Philadelphia and ends in Green Lane. Bike it or hike it there is so much to see and do along the way. Enjoy!

You have the ability to get closer to nature that surrounds us in Montgomery County. Staff can guide you through the displays or you can take a walk outdoors by yourself.

In March, we took our dog LuLu for a walk around in Green Lane Park. It is a great park and there are quite a number of things to do there in the warmer season - not so much in March.

Great biking, birding, playground, boating. Beautiful reservoir. In my own backyard!

We have camped there with the local scout troop, attended day camp and classes. Very informative and has a lot to offer.
