The location in central "Downtown" Mukwonago is very convenient and the interior renovation is stylish and airy. However, the food is below par and the service needs a lot of work. If they can nail that then this could become a preferred destination. Note, this is a bar/restaurant not an attraction!
First visit and they had just opened. It was good enough for us to try it again, even though we are not a 'sports bar' type of couple. The service was okay, and the food reasonable. Since we were late afternoon customers, the dinner time staff was just coming in.All in all, a nice change of pace.
This is a new place that opened up in Mukwonago and wanted to give it a try. Clearly made a mistake and will not go back.Went there on a Friday night with 5 other people. Service was terrible and I felt like we were being ignored for some reason. Finally got waited on and drinks arrived a while later.Several members of the group ordered the Friday fish fry and the rest of us ordered a pizza. Also ordered several batches of wings as appetizers. Save you money on the wings. Nothing to rave about here. I think MikeyD's ill fated wings were better. Our orders came and we requested a refill on drinks. The fish fry was way below par to what else is offered in the area. Greasy fish and fries and the fish had a nasty strong flavor to it.Pizza was clearly nothing to rave about either. Not sure what they consider to be zesty sauce, but ketchup is more like it and toppings were sparse.Tried it once, made a mistake, will learn from it and not go back.
this is the same place as the other half time sports listed under restaurants, not attractions! There's no attraction at a restaurant unless they put in a mini golf course.
Half-Time Sports Grille seems to have a cook problem. At the old location food was luke warm to hot and portions were always inconsistent. Fish fries had pieces of fish that were small to medium. Wait staff is slow.
Halftime just reopened at their new location in Downtown Mukwonago. Unfortunately, my husband and I are still not impressed. The prices went up with the move (just a tab, but noticeable), the feel of the restaurant has moved away from "Sports Bar" and seems to fall into a Garage/Biker feel now. I ordered the Spicy Avocado Chicken sandwich. Chicken was barely warm. Chive fries were soft and limp. My husband ordered the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich. He said the same about the Chicken - needed to be much hotter! Steak fries were okay. It may be just up the road from us, but we both agreed we will take a longer trip for better food and a more comfortable feel.
