rock in the road

It was fun to stop and see this. It's a big red granite boulder left by receding glaciers. It was so big that it couldn't be moved, so they paved around it. It's in the middle of a residential street and there are no warning signs, so be careful, especially at night. You don't want to drive into it. But it's fun to look at, climb on, sit on, and take pictures. Just one of those offbeat things that it's fun to say you did.
