We try to go this theater whenever we can. The seats are so comfortable, and the prices are right, especially in the daytime Sun through Thurs.
We enjoy this theater often. Seven of us enjoyed a movie yesterday. Great time! We only visit theaters we can pick reserved seats online. Such a stress reliever not to have to show up 40 minutes before a movie so the whole family can sit together or wait in long lines for tickets. The theater is attractive and clean, the prices are fair and the seats are extremely comfortable. The nachos are tasty. The only tiny problem encountered is occasionally they can't scan smart phones as we walk in and send all online tickets to customer service.
This theater has been around a while & they now have great seats. They recline, have adjustable foot rests, & are cushy & comfortable. The only thing I do not like is you must choose your seats when you buy them. It delays the purchase of the tickets. I would prefer to get there early & be at the front of the line so I could choose the seat I want when I get into the theater.
What a great place to see a movie! The employees were welcoming and the price for a matinee was under $5. The snacks were expensive, as usual, but the free soda refills and selection make up for that. The theatres themselves were cozy with great seating!
Seats were reclining style with a leg rest. Staff was very polite. Movie started on time and theater temperature was good. Bar inside where you can enjoy a drink with your movie.
IMAX expensive and shacks high priced. Don't know how these places stay in business? Projector broke down took them additional 10 minutes to get it working
The new theatres have reserved seating and new comfortable lounge chairs that also recline. The prices are still a bit higher but we usually go early in the day so we can take advantage of the matinee pricing.
The adjustable reclining seats are so comfortable! The snack area is well organized and staffed so you can get your goodies quickly to get to your movie. Several (very clean) restrooms so if you need to sneak out during the movie, you can get back quickly.
A nice theater with tons of screens for a great movie selection. The seats are very comfortable and the staff does a good job keeping the facility nice and clean.
We went to a movie before 3pm and for two people, it was $22. The theaters were very nice, but a couple drinks were $30 and popcorn and two cokes was $23. All in all, a very expensive experience. I must say, though, I did like the theater. It was very nice with large, roomy seats that reclined. They also had foot rests.
This is a great movie theater that is well maintained. The staff is mainly kids, but they seem to be trained well, and they seem friendly enough for high school kids. We enjoy seeing movies here and it's a very popular place to go see them. Great location!
They really did it right when they did this reno! Make sure you get the theater with the reclining seats. That was the most comfortable theater seat I ever had the pleasure of watching a movie in, outside my house. The new concessions is also my favorite. You can even get a free cup for water. The sound system and overall viewing experience will keep me coming back.
This theater is crawling with unsupervised teens and the tickets are more expensive than other theaters in the area. Pass on this one.
I had heard about the reserved seating but did not realize the theatre had reclining seats like the AMC 30 Suites. Wonderful since my kiddo is not old enough for the suites. Love that AMC is bringing back some of the classic movies to the big screen. We so enjoyed seeing GhostBusters on the 30th anniversary, and the theatre was full.
When Cinetopia opened locally earlier this summer it appeared the ol' AMC 20 Town Center would be relegated to #2 for the foreseeable future. It turns out that foresight was pretty poor. Barely a month later and the remodel was largely complete and oh, what a remodel it was!Sure, Cinetopia wins in the "attached restaurant" category with Vinetopia. And the "video hallways" are pretty slick - for a hallway. Even the LCD displays on the theater walls are a nice touch. But when you go to a movie theater what is your prime objective? That's right: to see a movie. And that folks, is where this AMC theater takes the cake.Let's start with the seating at this particular AMC theater. Other than the IMAX theater, it seems that most now have reclining leather seats. Electric reclining leather seats. Electric reclining leather seats that cradle you like a giant, loving hand. Oh, Cinetopia has reclining seats as well, however they do not compare to those at this AMC. It's like comparing an electric reclining beach chair to your favorite plush leather recliner at home - only better. Then you have an added bonus which some don't care for but true cinephiles absolutely adore: reserved seating. That's right: You can actually choose your seats in advance when you purchase your tickets! Want the prime center seats on opening night of a major blockbuster release? Go online early and reserve them. Then show up even two minutes before the previews start (or even after) and voila! Your seats await. Oh, the folks that purchase tickets as they arrive, as so many still do, will be unhappy when they see the best seats are already sold - even if they arrive an hour early. Don't worry about them - they will learn. This AMC 20 is also one of the few in the country that feature a PRIME theater. Haven't tried it yet, but apparently those awesome recliners even vibrate with the action. Definitely on our list of things to try there! Throw in a full bar (yep!) and plenty of concession options (pricey but good), and this is definitely a destination movie theater. None better in KC!
