Definitely take a tour here. It is rich in history. Great place to take pictures and buy little souvenirs. Even our 5 year old had a good time here.

Spent the day in Jasper for a conference. What an adorable town! The mill is nestled between a bridge and an operating train station. Outside there is a picnic area with tables, an irresistable walkway & bridge. Little ones can enjoy a small playground across the parking lot. When I walked inside, I was surprised to see it has been fully restored. It's simply gorgeous! Lots of jellies and souvenirs for sale...a friendly employee/volunteer told me the Blueberry and FROG (fig, raspberry & orange) flavors are outstanding. Pair them with fresh baked Amish bread for sale Thursday-Sunday in the shop. Wonderful lunchtime escape!
We were lucky enough to see the mill turning. Although with the wind it was a bit too much of a mist! Lots of history inside. And also local artists work available for purchase. Nice location on the river not too far from the square. Plus, the riverwalk is right there so it's accessible from parking & the walk. Stop in & look around.
If you are lucky enough to see the mill's wheel spinning you are in for a treat. Demonstrations are educational on flour is made. Nice stop on the river walk to pick up a quick drink and snack while getting to see a piece of Dubois county history.
Love taking my kids here. No matter how many times we have been, they are always enthralled with the way the cornmeal is made. Every part of the mill is clean and it is absolutely beautiful. We like the candies they sell and I always buy a bag of the grits if they have them available. Definitely worth stopping in of u are in jasper. Then take a walk on the Riverwalk. A step back in time for sure and fun and interesting for all ages
This is always interesting to see and take the grandkids. They always enjoy looking at he mill and see how I works
a good replicate of the original Mill. has reasonably priced items representing what the original Mill produced; food items
This is a great place to visit. They reconstructed an original mill using all authentic building materials and tooling. The people there are awesome and will spend as long as you like sharing their excitement and showing you how it all works.
We came here because we could see this from the train and needed a little exercize. They have a nice bridge walk. Mill is a nice replica of other real mills we have seen. Shop laid out nice. I bought apple butter and corn meal.
This place makes their own beer. Great staff that goes out of there way to make you feel welcome. Excellent Martini and Pizza was very tasty-thin crust.Good place to eat
Located on the River Walk in the middle of town you can see how the mill operated and even by some meal. After your mill visit. take a walk in the river walk or visit the nearby train station.
Great stop to get a bit of history. The volunteers are very knowledgeable about the mill and the surrounding area. They sell corn meal and wonderful pancake mix as well as other items.
