myrtle beach skywheel

I enjoyed this ...it is on the expensive side a and my family and in laws seemed to be kind of pensive about getting on it ..but it was a nice view of the total area and it was good clean family fun, Kasey and Mary and the ticket counter lady (I wont say her name..but I will say..she is a Fifty Shades of Gray kinda woman) were very friendly and very helpful and helped to make the experience more fun, especially Kasey...so have fun and go for it ..just be prepared to pay

I've been on the sky wheel several times (for my children) and enjoyed it...It's probably not something most people want to do twice.... Just a great view from that height....There are coupons available in the local coupon booklets that will save you a few dollars, just FYI.

We really enjoyed the views and the ride can seat up to 8 people. Goes around about 4 times. Perfect amount of time and climate controlled

The ride was very safe. We got to stop at the top to take in all of the sites. It was something fun to do when the weather was chilly.

It was not a busy time of year so there was no waiting and since it was a clear day we could see for miles up and down the coast. It felt very safe and secure and got to go around an extra time. Enjoyed thoroughly.

This was a great experience altogether. I have always been very height sensitive, but these cabins were so nice. The air was fresh and controlled smoothly throughout ride. We all could really lay back and enjoy the incredible view. Would definitely recommend this as a great family marker on any memorable vacation

Excellent views.. We did this just before sunset.. Family from NH came down for Thanksgiving and this was one of the main attractions we went on.

It was great to see and take pictures of scenery from up high. Loved it! The price is reasonable for such a great experience.

A must in Myrtle Beach is the SkyWheel! The view of the Atlantic Ocean, the boardwalk and the beach sea shore is stunning!

The ride was smooth and if it wasn't so foggy on the night we rode it I'm pretty sure the view would've been much better. The total ride time was about 15 min and they even paused it at the top so we could take pictures.

My entire family 6 adults 8 children gave this ride a thumbs up. As far as the price is concerned I think it was reasonable when you consider the ongoing operational cost and construction. If you are stretched for money then you probably should be working instead of vacationing in Myrtle Beach or go to some flimsly made Ferris wheel at a neighborhood event. The people who issued the tickets were efficient and pleasant. Even the man who worked the gates to allow boarding was pleasant and helpful I asked him several questions about the ride and he quickly and pleasantly provided me with answers. A Ferris wheel ride is not meant to be an adrenalin pump, if you are looking for that go across the street and get shot up in the air. This was as near a perfect Ferris wheel ride as I have ever experienced. Don't change anything.

The skywheel is a little pricey for a family of 4 but the view is great. The lights on it at night are very pretty but for great views a clear day is best,The cars have heating/ac so you are comfortable year round. My 5 yr.old was a bit nervous on the first circle round but got over and enjoyed the rest of the ride.

Great attraction to ride. Love the view from the sky wheel. Price not bad(can find coupons on line to help) Great for everyone of any age.
