Fairly clean and nice setup, however staff is horrible. After paying for their 2 hour special and being told we would be able to finish out our current game if we were a good bit into it, they shut down our lane in the 8th frame. After I brought it to the gentleman's attention (who was the only professional one at the counter, I wish I would have gotten his name to properly give him credit on here) he smiled and said "we just switched it back on." As I turned to quickly finish, an old hag who seemed like management said in an annoyed voice "Only if you hurry up, your 2 hours are up and we've got a wait list." Don't tell people to begin with that they will be able to finish their game if you don't want them to. Also, take some management lessons. My group also had problems with the bartender being incredibly slow and rude. Staffing in general is this company's main downfall.
We had a gaggle of children ages 3-6 that came to bowl and eat cake with the birthday boy. The staff provided commingled tables and chairs. The little ones bowled with very light balls on lanes with the "gutter guards" pulled up. This prevents the ball from being able to go into the alley's gutter and any throw basically caromed off the guards and makes it to the pins. They had plenty of children's size shoes in stock. The assistant manager was helpful in serving the pizza to the children after their birthday party. Must have been very good because most of them ate it all, but what little one doesn't like pizza? He also spent a few trips to the end of our lanes when the little one's bowl didn't quite reach the pins. The atmosphere was very pleasant well lit and clean. There were 24 lanes in the alley. You could tell there were quite a few regulars there having a great Sunday afternoon. They have food available, drinks and beer. Buckets of beer were available at a discount. The lanes appeared well kept up. The little ones were pretty hard on them dropping balls etc. but the lanes were tough and took it. There was a second large birthday party for older children that was taking place on the other side of the cashiers booth as well when we were there. Hey the staff clean up afterwards so who could complain at that.In all it was a completely wonderful way to spend a Sunday afternoon with the children at a safe and kinetic sport such as bowling. No helmets, no knee-pads, no gloves, no worries! :)
