I've attended several conferences here. The staff was very helpful, buffet meals were excellent, and wifi was great.

I attended a wedding there and the place was immaculate! It is also well centered for reaching hotels/motels and the downtown area which has lots to offer. Yakima is in the center of wine and fruit production in Washington State. One of the interesting items to collect are the old fruit company labels which can be found in most antique shops. Visiting in the fall will allow you to watch the harvest of some of the finest apples in the nation. Within sight of Mount Rainier and Mount Adams.

I attended a summer conference 2014 for CTE Teachers from all across Washington State. The Convention Center did a great job! The morning breakfasts were wonderful buffets. When I asked for salsa, the waiter quickly returned and apologized that they did not offer any. Bummer, but at least he tried. Facilities are great! I highly recommend having your conference in sunny Yakima.

Several meetings here over the years. Clean, well managed, great support staff. If you need a small or larger meeting place it is hard to beat the Yakima Convention Center. The prices and support are great and the parking is free. Easy access from the freeway and lots of great hotel and motels around the site plus great places to eat in your off hours.

I thought the convention center staff were EXCELLENT!!!! They were very helpful and treated everyone with the utmost respect.

Food good, conference rooms standard. But enough bathrooms for women when everyone is out at the same time? nope

The convention center is kept unbelievably cold! Wear layers and make sure the females in your group bring sweaters, wear warm slacks and closed toe shoes. The parking lot is conveniently close (within a minute)

Four years in a row at the Yakima Convention center.I was a delegate and I'll tell you one thing ......... If the Convention Center does not make BIG changes in the food and our State organization does not move somewhere else .......... then this is my last one I'll attend!!Bottom line: The food was terrible!!!!!!!Can you imagine feeding a State convention of FARMERS ........ POORLY?Disgusted

I continue to be impressed about the size and quality of the convention center in Yakima. I've been to several trade shows and the facility is excellent. Very well maintained and convenient to local hotels. Great job!

This is for all of you that may find yourselves scheduled to attend a function in this most unique of Washington cities. We stayed at the Fairfield Marriott, and could walk here in under 10 minutes. There are plenty of other decent to good hotels within walking distance as well.There is very little real food in the vicinity, unless you count Taco Bell, ARCO, and 7-Eleven. For a region that gets exceedingly warm in the summer, there is also a paucity of ice cream nearby, unless you are willing to patronize the Dairy Queen across the street. I have rules, and therefore cannot comment on that particular establishment in this location.If you enjoy a midday stroll, this is the THE PLACE. There are plenty of sidewalks, shade trees, good street lights, watchful drivers, and the entire area is pretty darn flat; you can really generate a pace, especially if the lights are good to you.Fare well.

This is a nice facility. However, the staff running the place is less than helpful. There generally is no food service available, unless planned by the using convention group. An overpriced coffee and muffin cart was present while I was there.

Having attended several conferences in the past few years, I am always impressed by the level of service and organization. Staff is very friendly and helpful, and the venue is very comfortable. We especially like the availability of the espresso cart each morning. The one downside is the location - at night the surrounding area is over-run with sketchy people, and does not feel safe. DON'T STROLL AT NIGHT BY YOURSELF!!

Only downfall is the parking ( its close but not enough of it ) Close to hotels in downtown Yakima ( at least 4 of them that are very close )New Convention Center look with great people running the show for any trade or convention you have in Yakima.

Great venue for large groups!!! I was there for the Washington State Fairs Association Convention and we were treated very well!!!
