kayak point regional county park

Made a couple of trips to this little gem of a park. We were staying in Marysville, about 20 mins away. The first time we saw the park it was while we were out for a drive, the second time we made it our destination. Large driftwood logs define the high water mark, a perfect windbreak to set out a blanket and enjoy the sun while watching boats launch and travel out onto the bay. Informative signs on the pier explain the history of kayak point and also point out the different tide zones and sea life that lives there.There are about 10 pavilions with 2 tables and a bbq pit each that can be rented out, also a larger pavilion that looks like it could be used for larger parties.
