The comedians were really funny! We enjoyed it so much, we stayed for the late show too. And then we got super lucky and Dane Cook popped by and did a set. The drinks were very reasonable ($5 domestic), the ticket price was cheap ($20), and the manager was super friendly and nice. Don;t miss this if you are in LA!!!!

Paid for VIP for a Friday night 10pm late show featuring Dane Cook who was incredible! A surprise visit from Paul Rodriguez was a special treat. We left at 1am and there were still 2-3 comics to go! Great value! Unfortunately there was a private party in the corner near us with a celebrity, and they never shut up throughout the show. Management was on them, though. I wish they had been thrown out. It was so good that one of us went to the Laugh Factory in Vegas a week later.IMPORTANT RE SEAT LOCATION! As you gather upstairs, the entry to the downstairs show takes place down the BACK stairs not the stairs you enter by. If you want to have first choice of seating, hang around the upstairs bathroom (unisex which was odd...and it had no toilet paper...go figure). As with all comedy, front rows guests are targets. We though we had the best seats, by accident! Sit in the first row of the elevated (by a foot) section and face head-on. Great viewing and nobody seems to pick those seats first! See my pics. Also, there is no pressure to buy drinks in the waiting area. Just say no thanks. They don't count towards the 2 drink minimum and who wants to have to pee all night anyway!

We had so much fun. They had a great venue the comedians were well worth the time. The chairs were a bit uncomfortable but I guess they were trying to save on seating. We went to a 10:00 pm. showing and it was a lot of fun. They have a 2 drink minimum and they also sell sandwiches and chips if you feel the munchies coming on. Very smart to do. If you have time go check out a show.

I must give props to The Laugh Factory for keeping entertainment live and entertaining. My wife and I just returned from seeing Tim Allen live on the evening of January 29th, 2015. We never visited this venue before and did not know what to expect... and we never have seen Tim Allen live before... but are big fans of his body of work. This venue and Tim Allen were a perfect match for a sold-out night of fun. The host and an up and coming comedian primed the audient for Tim Allen's eventual entry to the stage... But what was memorable was the quality of the two before Tim Allen - they were actually fantastic comedians in their own right. Tim Allen, however, was at the top of his game! He was so funny that when I left the venue, my sides ached from laughing so hard. He is THE true funny man of our time. His style and technique have been honed to pure perfection. The hostesses, waitresses, and the parking crew (parking was convenient just next door for $10 and there were two security/valet persons present the entire time) - all made the experience easy and enjoyable... Overall, I will be looking at this venue for laugh opportunities for our next return to Southern California.

My husband and I decided to ring in the new year with some laughs. We purchased advanced VIP tickets to the Laugh Factory in West Hollywood. VIP, not so much! The service was piss poor, it was unassigned seating, and overall it was a pretty unorganized event. On the bright side, the comedians knocked our socks off with their routine, and we loved Dane Cook as the surprise guest. We will be going back because we got complimentary return tickets with our purchase. Hopefully we have a better experience next time.

My sister and I bought last minute tickets on a Monday morning for a show that evening, not knowing what to expect at all.Price was reasonable, but you have to buy two drinks once inside, not necessarily alcoholic. The comedians were all very funny, interacted with the crowd, gave shout outs to the famous ones in the audience (much to our excitement!) and the venue was small and intimate.Dane Cook walked in off the street and took to the stage for a while which was brilliant! At the end of the night, it had gotten quite late so many people had left and there were seats free next to us, drake's dad and DJ Alligator came and sat very close to us and we even got a hug each from Drake's dad.If you hang around till the end the comedians hand out free tickets to come again.Brilliant night with great comedy. If I was in LA again I would definitely go back.

Went here on a Saturday night and I definitely recommend. GA tickets were $25 and the line up was great. The wait staff were awesome too. The only criticism would be the prices for the drinks of which you need to buy at least 2.

Nice place. Comedy on a high level. You should go... When i where there, russel Peters and Mas jebrani had a stand up. I recomend it. You have to buy to drinks while you watch the show. Dont sit on the first row, the comedians is going to make jokes out of you. 100%

If you are in the area you have to visit Laugh Factory! We saw four headliners and laughed till we cried! Better than any other comedy club we have ever been to, and we met and greeted the comics! Laugh Factory RULES!

Its a fun and open place where a lot of really successful talent got their start. SNL recruits here.

The Skinny:Parking- Street if you can find it, valet, or Car Wash $10 next doorDrinks- 2 drink minimumCoke Factor- Pepsi :(AC- if it was on, it doesn't workSeats- the booths are uncomfortable, Chairs are betterOn the website, you can buy regular tickets that may be standing room only. Or you can buy VIP tickets for more (of course) and get regular seating which in the main part of the room is really tight - think economy airplane seat and once it gets hot in there it is really uncomfortable! The servers are nice and certainly not pushy. Even though our VIP tickets said you can lounge starting at 9p, that wasn't the case. We got stuck standing outside in line for 20 minutes before they seated us. The 10pm show had a lot of comedians, some funny, some not. The headliner Judd Apatow was quite disappointing.

Had a great time, lots of stand up comedy acts. Nice mixed crowd, lots of fun with groups of friends and in a great area!

Had jet lag and couldn't sleep so went across the road for the midnight session. Absolutely hilarious, there were a couple of duds but most of the comedians were great.

Saw Dane Cook here (his stumping grounds) and a bunch of other really good comedians. Go for the 10pm show, better comedians. Spend an little extra to get in sooner and enjoy the end of 8pm show from the nice waiting lounge upstairs. Seating can be a bit cramped and tight and certainly not every (pair of) chair(s) has a tiny table, so if you're planning to eat there, be aware (better enjoy a meal in the neighborhood). I was not impressed by the midnight comics, for whom you are allowed to stay if you booked for the 10pm show. Overall, I will be back next time I'm in Tinseltown.

The Laugh Factory along with The Comedy Store are sacred places in LA comedy as new voices in comedy as well as legends have performed here and continue to do so. This was the venue in which Michael Richards went on his infamous rant some years ago. We got the (VIP) priority tickets which allowed us entry 45 minutes early and some say in where we sat. (TIP - avoid the front rows or a conspicuous area as you may get "picked"on during the show.) It is a small venue with tight seating which does make the room intimate for this type of show; it's a bit dark and decorated with various comics, including statues, puppets, and posters of famous comics as Laurel and Hardy, Marx Brothers, WC Fields, Chaplin and others. There is a two drink minimum (non-alcohol does count); the food is limited and is mostly bar foods as pizza or nachos. Warning: we are not prudes; however, the whole show that evening was "off color" comic after comic. therefore, it is NOT suitable for most "family" outings. I must admit to feeling "a bit old" as the younger people found the performers very funny while in general, the "older" crowd thought it crude - overkill - at times. However, this is true of many comedy clubs these days, but many shows do have more of a mixed bag of sexual and non-sexual material. Still, we had a good time and would return for another show.
