到海滩的时候正好临近傍晚，太阳西沉，一点点落入海际线，还有小伙伴们在旁，好开心。沙滩上有很多鸽子，时不时飞起，真的太美了。

圣莫妮卡是洛杉矶市边上沿海的部分，感觉像一个小的海滨城市，和普吉或巴提雅有几分相似。码头部分现在已经变成了一个游乐园，还有很多餐厅和咖啡厅。滨海大道上是LA观看日落最美的地方，每天黄昏都有大批游人。在晚霞中散步，然后晚餐，最后在旁边的步行街上购物，这绝对是值得体验的海滨生活。

海边的游乐园是一幅很美丽的景象不过码头上其实也没有什么特别的有脚踏车步道 也挺多游客租脚踏车游玩黄昏的时候来或许是最美的时刻

从外地来的朋友要去看看有名的码头和摩天轮,于是我就带他们去这里玩,在码头上居然还有荡秋千可以玩,我和我老公玩了一次,我们好喜欢。夏天的时候,码头上还会举行免费的音乐会,那时候自己带点吃的来野餐,边吃边听,真浪漫。

码头区域很有趣,有许多演艺人员。我们从坐在码头一端弹唱的那个人那里买到一张CD,我们在下雨的时候在车里听这张CD,记住了Santa Monca。码头的日落壮观,不过我们还没有把拍到的照片整理出来。

码头很有低级酒馆海滩小城的感觉,小贩会兜售一些你无法想象的便宜东西,喝着啤酒,听着西部乡村或者乡村摇滚乐队的演出,你会发现这些人唱的并不比孩子们学校的自组乐团好多少。沿着木板路散步,小心看好自己的钱包,在靠近米兰火车站的地方,可以画个脸,买点小玩意,很多廉价的快乐,无伤大雅。

好吧,我知道你们这些追随者是怎么想的:圣塔莫妮卡码头,真的吗?我们呆在那里与几个小时来消磨,看一些与结婚有关的事情,感觉真的是一般。在游轮上玩的不错,你可以从两个方向看到好几英里的海岸。帆船向远处开去,感觉真的是风景如画。我们来过这里八次,感觉真的是一个值得去的地方。在这里我们可以静静地感受时光的流逝。

我们在那儿转了一会儿。走到码头的尽头,看看一些奇葩的食物,拍一些驯服的鹈鹕的照片,真的很好玩,最好玩的是乘坐摩天轮。

I figured the pier would be a lot more like Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco. No luck. It was sparsely populated with generic vendors, most of whom were selling the same garbage. (At least the generic vendors on Fisherman's Wharf appear more unique from one another.) Here you can do such exciting things as: get a caricature, choose from at least five different street artists to put your name in to some colorful, beach theme, or get your name on a grain of rice. I figured there would at least be some fun street-style food here, but the only options were big, sit-down restaurants, plus a tamale stand where the staff couldn't even tell me if her pre-frozen, manufactured tamales were gluten-free (which "real" tamales are). Glad I've seen it, so I know I have no reason to go back.

As the end of Route 66, it is worth visiting. It can get really windy here. The performers and artists abound here, and provide incredible entertainment. The beauty of the ocean is unsurpassed! Should not be missed if in the area.

Nice atmosphere and I was there around sunset. With lots of street singers and food vendors. I felt it was very save and worth the travel. One tip I have is that when you arrive and you drive yourself when you get there it looks like you drive into a dead end but go over the little bridge and you will find alot of parking not like me. I got valet parking at one of the restaurants.

The pier is beautiful and it even has an amusement park with a ferris wheel. We stayed there four days and every day we said, we'll do it tomorrow but last day came and we never got on it. I guess we have to go back!

One of the most amazing sights your eyes could see. Sand under your feet, the sound of the waves as they hit the the shore, and the Pacific Ocean for as far as you can see.

How can you not go here? It is a world icon and classic in design. A nice walk that featured dolphins jumping in the water. There was even a geocache or two along the pier which was a surprise. Amusement rides we avoided due to us being too old and it was a cold day. Watched the street magician and listened to a busker sing. Great people watching. Certainly a must if in LA and I would even go back. Convenient parking. Fun. Can not imagine how must it must be in the summer.

My family and I enjoyed walking along the pier, taking in all the sites, sounds and smells. We did not ride anything and instead chose to hang out on the beach after and watch the sunset. The beach is large and offers lots of room to play volleyball (including nets), walk along the paths or sit and suntan! It was a relaxing, fun afternoon!
