Great for the kid. Prices are slightly high when you consider the tickets cost almost as much as disneyland. Hours are not that long but rides were fun and all the food places are good.

We visited today for our daughters best friend's birthday and were very disappointed in the end. It was a hot day, so we waited in line for the pirate reef ride only to find it was not working...100ish. Since the park was pretty busy, we had lunch and decided to try a "big kid" ride again. We waited for more than 2 hours for a ride that said 90 Mins, and the line wasnt even full. Then, we saw that someone was stuck on the ride....no communication that could be heard by guests next in line, and employees who arrived to tell new people were rude when we asked what was up. This was the sky cruser around 330. Most of the other similar rides had wait times about the same. We were so frustrated that we ended up walking around a bit and leaving early. So disappointing and frustrating. Seems like a place our daughter would like to visit more often, but not worth it if we cant really enjoy. We live close by, and were considering annual passes.....but are definitely reconsidering.

We went with our grandkids. Rides and displays mostly for the 4-12 crowd. Loved watching the kids have fun. So much so that we had to do two full days. We had a two days for one deal, so it worked out perfectly. Some hints to have fun:a. Look for deals. $89 is the base ticket. Ouch! I got a great deal online.b. Car pool if needed as parking is $15 and not included in ticket price.c. Pack your own lunch. Lots of food options but very expensive. Example: Small Doritos bag was $2.95. Ouch!d. Plan your trip beforehand by going online. I would suggest touring the park counter clockwise. If planning on going to the water park, ensure you bring dry clothes. Know that sounds common sense but saw several families who did not. Plan when to go to the shows that are held or you may miss a lot.e. Bring money! The options for lego buying are endless and frankly pretty neat.f. Lines for most rides but most went fairly fast (we went on a Monday and Tuesday); not like a Disney park. In other words, some waiting inevitable. Suspect weekends are worst.g. Staff are very helpful and great with kids. h. Bring sunscreen. Expect perfect sun most days.Heard from other families that the on site hotel was actually pretty nice.

My grandkids are 8 and 6 and they loved Lego Land. It should be open later than 5 because we arrived at 10 and didn't have enough time. They loved the water park and played there 2 hours.Make sure you ride the roller coasters and try the fried apples with Cinnomon and whipped cream. They loved everything about the park and didn't want to leave,.

I've taken my daughter to LEGOLAND twice. The first time, we were overwhelmed. Being just 3 years old, she was happy to spend time at one of the first play areas we happened upon. She also was content with the sprinkler pad area. The next time we went, we discovered so much more. This place is perfect for children, and provides so many different things to do. My daughter was thrilled to find pink foam toy swords available, complete with matching shield and of course- tiara. Complete warrior princess ensemble. The food here is definitely a few steps above places like Disneyland. All in all a great time for kids!

I don't like writing negative reviews but I just want to warn future visitors what to expect here.We paid 3 tickets around 260 $ .Our daughter is 3+ y old..On march 10 park was open from 10-5 pm.That's only 7 hours. From 10 am till 12:45 we were able to see ONLY 2 rides because of long lines. And this was on Tuesday! Now the biggest disappointment - this 2 rides were only few minutes long!So one ride took almost one hour and half and ride was 2-3 min long. After this 2 rides we went to eat something (hamburgers were good) and it was already 1 pm !!In next remaining 4 hours we took some other rides (lane was shorter but also rides were extremely short comparing other parks) and our daughter enjoyed playing at their playground.Their playground was fun , we think our daughter would prefer spending whole time just there playing with other children. But is it worth 260 $ ? No way. We had only LEGOLAND Park Only tickets, no waterpark or sealife.Even if we had that options there would be no time to visit it. They close also at 5 PM I think. If you come here and stay at least 2 days then maybe you will have more time to explore and visit other attractions but we still think its very expensive for what you get to see in only 7 hours (and don't forget you will also waste 20-30 minutes to enter here if you don't come very early.Employees were very friendly

We came back on a Saturday using our pass. My 4 yr old had a blast. If you're going, I would recommend getting tickets for a much lesser price from Costco or using the San Diego Go Card. Much better if you can avail of the promos they have wherein you can come back for free. The ticket value may cost you a lot if bought on a regular price without a promo particularly if traveling with the whole family on a budget. The park is not as grand like Disneyland but it is distinct in its own way.
