After returning to Carpenteria for a few years to buy these fabulous chocolates, they now have a store in Santa Barbara. These chocolates are handcrafterd and made of the finest ingredients - one piece with a glass of red wine (or coffee) makes a mighty fine dessert. Each piece is special and they have a brochure showing what each flavor is. Tastes like Passion Fruit, Geranium, Cocotier(coconut), mint and Madagascar(dark chocolate are delectable - not to mention the Champagne Truffles. There is a large choice of wonderful flavors, over 30 and this candy is worth every penny!

Not really an "attraction" (as categorized here on TA) so to speak, but an excellent chocolate shop! Are these chocolates expensive? You betcha! Is the shop a little out of the way? Yes. Are these some of the best chocolates you have every had? OH MY! Yes, they are!If you love chocolates and are going through Carpinteria, stop here! First of all, the chocolates are absolutely gorgeous. (Would make a perfect gift for someone who loves chocolate...) They are classy beyond a doubt. The chocolate is superb, rich and smooth. The chocolates have various flavors, and unlike some other high-end chocolates, the individual flavors are strong, vibrant and taste natural.A word of caution, we purchased some to take on the road with us--they are very susceptible to warm temperatures.

Located a distance from the center of town this is located in an industrial area. (not that there's anything wrong with that). The chocolates look wonderful. Unfortunately, we are middle class and found four chocolates for $10 to be just a tad too expensive for us. I am sure their product must be wonderful, but not today.

On the road with my wife today for a pre-holiday road trip! We stopped in Carpinteria to get some chocolates as is our habit when we pass through. The chocolates here are all handmade and not only are they amazingly beautiful, they taste better than they look! The flavors and shapes are amazing! In addition this factory's showroom/store at this location is extremely clean. The showroom/store is in the front of the factory and you can see into production area and watch the chocolates being made.
