Beaux Freres has, hands down, the best of the Oregon Pinot Noirs. The tasting room is an experience in and of itself as well; it's located in the old farmhouse where they now office, package, and make wine. Don't miss this winery while you're in the area, but be sure to make an appointment.

Beaux Freres is my favorite winery and I have long been an admirer of the incredible wines they produce. On my recent visit to the Willamette valley for a wine touring weekend, they were winery I just HAD to visit. You have to make an appointment for a tasting but it's well worth the wait. The wines were nothing short of amazing and they were in full swing of crush. People were swirling all around us working to get the grapes from vine to bottle. It was wonderful to be witness to it. We even had the good fortune to meet Mike Etzel and were charmed by his welcoming demeanor and casual conversation while enjoying his wines. The wines poured were exceptional and we couldn't help but take a few bottles with us. Finally being able to visit this winery was a real treat and I'll surely be back again someday. This is a must on your wine tour list, their wines are simply the best.

Very lucky to be tasting at Beaux Freres on an IPNC visit day. Despite being busy we we remade welcome. A superb tasting of World Class Pinot from a range of years, the 2008 was outstanding. Then lucky enough to taste wine from a brand called Coat tails ( the winemakers son ) which was a standout wine. Full, rich fruit, well balanced, good use of oak. 2012 and will age very well indeed. Thanks to Jeff of Cascadia tours who took us there.

Beaux Freres Winery ... wow. we were a group of six to taste and enjoy the site alone. Kelly was our guide and knows his wine but we had the chance to tour with Michael, the oenologist. this enchanting site is nothing compared to wine, listening michael mention all the manufacturing steps, we can understand. this is the best wine I taste Oregon. make your reservations, you would not be disappointed and we look forward to visiting their little cousin dundee.

What a great experience to have the tasting room and tasting room manager (Anna) all to ourselves. This is the kind of tasting experience that makes an occasion special, which was doubly welcome since it was my husband's birthday. The wine is the BEST I have tasted in Oregon (which is saying a lot since there are so many great competitors), and I am used to buying high end wine from our state. Anna was easy to talk to: very friendly and enthusiastic without being pushy. She clearly knows what she is talking about. A cute and sweet spaniel pup greets you at the door. Make reservations and prepare to be wowed by wonderful, amazing wine.

You will need reservations, but definitely worth the trip to Beaux Freres Winery. Libby was our tour guide and did the tasting for us. We got a personal tour up to the vineyards and the barrel room, and then the tasting. These are some of the best wines in the Willamette Valley in our opinion. Libby was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and also gave us recommendations for other wineries to visit in the area as well as restaurant recommendations. We really appreciated the other winery suggestions because there are so many to choose from and she was spot on with her recommendations. Still, Beaux Freres was our favorite winery during our trip. Besides the great wine, we loved the personal attention and willingness to answer our questions. This small winery is a great find!

They don't seem to do much marketing, but this is amazing wine, and a laid back place with a very approachable tasting room manager and tour guide. Rebekah is her name. Wow.
