Another small family winery in the countryside of Oregon. The tasting room is small and not decked out, but clean and approachable. I like places like this because you can usually chat with the owners while tasting wine - the same is true here. Plus they are usually very family friendly, like here, which is good for our kids. A great visit.

We stopped by Becker Vineyard on the recommendation of a friend. Not only did we find their wines to be delicious, but we found them to be one of the most genuinely friendly, down-home vineyards we've ever visited. Peggy was operating the tasting room when we visited, along with their two "guard" dogs (hint: they mostly sleep...). She provided a generous selection of cheeses and other snacks, including homemade bourbon cherry fudge. Peggy acted as an honest to goodness hostess, providing generous tastes of at least 4 wines, lots of great information about their history, dry farming practices, and the science of the wine, and a level of cheer and love for their vineyard that I have rarely seen. Each of their wines were unique and wonderful - the pinot gris was unlike any that I've had. In the end, we were so taken with the wine, that we purchased 6 bottles (an unheard of number of bottles for us to buy in one shot). We had a great time visiting Becker, and Peggy even gave us a hug when we departed. We'll definitely come back next time we're in town!

The Beckers are the nicest people in the wine business. We were welcomed with "grab a plate of food and I will get you some wine!" The wine was terrific and we enjoyed Peggy's cooking (especially the fudge). Charlie was also soooo nice! We bought 6 bottles of wine and got a card proclaiming us "wine friends for life" (discounts!). We really like visiting the folks that do dry farming and it was so interesting to hear their story. Would highly recommend this place!!

Becker Winery was full of pleasant surprises. It didn’t start with the long drive up a dusty road, or the informal unadorned building that housed the tasting room or the overly warm verandah but with the amazing authentic wines.I remarked that none of the wines on this day’s tastings had any “hints” of flavor. Seeking confirmation, John stated the obvious, “men don’t do well with “hints”. Hints were not an oversight with Becker wines. Even John noticed the “hints” in each tasting. He also noticed the giant mound of friendly black Lab/Newfoundland stretched out across the cool tile floor, the salami/cheese/crackers on the bar and the friendly, chatty and informative owner.Grown without irrigation, the vines, now 30 feet deep, produced true palatable “hints” of superb flavor. Heavily circled on our winery map, we will pass this way again. We brought home a Cab and wished we had visited earlier as many of their best sellers were already sold out.

We heard rave reviews about Becker from a fellow traveler. We were bowled over by the quality of wines and the hospitality of Peggy & Charlie. Plan to stay for a while, you won't be disappointed!

Quaint vineyard well worth doing a taste at. Unique in its setting, size and quality. Loved the perfect setting as we enjoyed our "buffet" lunch prepared by Bruce of Vin Van on the patio overlooking the vineyards.

I prefer single malt scotch whiskey, but my wife likes quality wine. A tasting visit to Charlie and Peggy's winery a couple of years ago introduced me to the most flavorful Pinot noir I have ever tasted. I am now hooked and frequently enjoy wine with dinner. Becker winery has become a destination to share with family and friends, the same pleasant introduction to quality wine that I experienced. Although the Pinot I first tasted was from a particularly good year and no longer available, I recently took home a case because Charlie's husbandry of the vineyard and chemistry for fermentation is impeccable. Definitely a must visit in my book.

Enjoyed yet another stop at Becker Vineyard. Peggy and Charlie are great, very knowledgeable hosts along with their lovable dogs. We tasted all of their latest reds and most of the whites and enjoyed them all. Personal favorites are the Mueller, named after one of their dogs, Pinot Gris and Cabernet. We buy it by the case and will pop in again next year!

My wife and I love going out to Becker Vineyard in the summer time. We have gone with friends and taken games. The couple that runs the place are very nice people. Peggy (one of the owners) take time to pour each wine and give you a little back story on each. Willow the bloodhound and Mueller the giant black lab/St. Bernard are usually nearby, very friendly and happy to get any attention. They also have a spread of crackers, cheeses, meatballs (very tasty), nuts, salami, etc. You're encouraged to eat all you like as you sample the wines. At the very end as you're tasting the boldest of the reds, Peggy brings out her secret cherry fudge, which is very good. I try every time to get the recipe, but I can't blame her for not wanting to give it out. Great time, great people, and we enjoy supporting a business ran by such good hearted kind people. It's small, and cozy, but its one of our favorite local wineries.

This place is out in the country but worth the drive. when we drove up we were met by the owners very large, very friendly dog. A cross of a saint bannard and black lab. The owner herself pored for us and said she loves to feed her tasters. She put out salami, 2 types of crackers, 4 types of cheese and on top of that, no charge to taste. You can taste everything on the list, including one wine called Dog Drool. She named in honor of their dogs of course. They don't sell outside the tasting room so if you like any of their wines, you must get it while you are there. They had some decent wines, but again, depending on who you are and what you like, red, white, sweet or dry, you might like all of their product or none.

This winery is clearly driven by passion and love of wine-making. Expect a warm welcome, and good wines in a simple tasting room. You'll talk with the people who make the wine, and support a labor of love by buying a bottle or two.

What a pleasant experience to visit Becker Vineyard and be wined and dined by Peggy who just happens to own the quaint and beautiful vineyard and tasting room. She is knowledgeable and yet not the least bit pretentious - it was such a pleasure to taste their excellent wines and some pretty darn good meatballs, cheese and crackers sitting out on the patio overlooking the vineyards (meatballs only on weekends). It was, by far, the best wine tasting afternoon that I have ever experienced! Thank you Beckers! P.S. Don't miss the "Dog Drool" wine!

Peggy couldn't have been more delightful or accommodating. She sat us outside on a beautiful warm summer day. The wine was excellent and tastings free. She serves some food with the tastings on the weekend that was also very good.

This is a lovely little winery operated by the owners. You might have to stop over a couple of large, lazy dogs to get into the tasting room, but once you do you are in for a treat. Lovely Pinot Noir grown in the surrounding vineyard does not disappoint. There is a nice little deck to sit and enjoy a glass.....bring a picnic lunch and enjoy the afternoon.
