sherman county historical museum

We stopped here for a break on a road trip we were taking in Eastern Oregon and what a surprise we had. This museum is incredible. Full of fun and professional exhibits on everything from wheat to Oregon Trail history to homesteaders in the county. Personalized tour by volunteer docent. Better than many museums in larger counties and cities. Lots of good exhibits for kids to enjoy too. Nice setting with park abutting.
