Rarely are you in a situation like the one 14 ladies and I (in and around our 40's) were in last weekend on our 3 day adventure on the Rogue River trail. Spectacular weather, beautiful scenery, the ability to create our own trip with Orange Torpedo (some of us ran, some hiked, some rafted and hiked, etc) and being totally off the grid allowed us to truly bond and create an experience that we will never forget. Our guides took care of us beyond measure- we are already planning our next adventure and hop Orange Torpedo can guide us along that one as well. Truly a magical memory in every sense of the word!

We had some initial mess ups with our reservation but Erik took care of us and we ended up with a great time on the river. Beautiful day, end of season so not too wild. Mike S. was excellent - experienced, helpful, fun. Loved the nice touch of providing us with a picnic snack in the middle of the trip. All went well until Mike got ejected from the raft, but he did his job and kept us all in the raft! We got out money's worth on this one!

We had the most fantastic time as a group with this rafting outfit and its guides, Steven and Jake.We had 7 teenagers and 4 adults.The guides let us play, and played hard with us!Everybody had such a terrific time.The guides were fun, kind, funny, and knew much about the river and the surrounding area.The water was warm (kinda: 65), and the weather was excellent too.This experience can not be beat.Thank you so much Orange Torpedo for making our "big outing" so memorable...we all really appreciate it!!!

A friend and I kayaked the Wild and Scenic section of the Rogue River on a three day trip. It was beautiful and fun. The guides kept us amused, safe, well-fed, and challenged. They provided excellent instructions on how to kayak the class 1-3 rapids the first two days. And, they made the couple of class 4 rapids on the last day almost easy. We had a lot of fun. The river is beautiful, the lodges had great food, and everyone was friendly and helpful. I would go again.

My 13 year old son and I did a day-long kayak trip with class 2-3 rapids on the Rogue River with Orange Torpedo. It was super fun. We have river rafted several times, including a couple class 4's, but had never kayaked in rapids. The boats are comfortable and very maneuverable. They are also very stable meaning that it is harder to fall out. The instruction was great and I felt very safe (I am no spring chicken!). The rapids were fun without being scary (and I have been scared before in a raft). They served us a nice lunch and there were calm spots for swimming and playing in the water. The guides were a hoot! I can hardly wait to do it again.

My husband and I recently had another amazing trip with Orange Torpedo RaftingTrips, a 3-day outing through The Wild and Scenic section of the Rogue River in Southern Oregon. It was everything I had hoped it would be! I was sure that I wouldn't be disappointed after our 1-day trip with OTT on the Rogue last summer.The guides made sure we had a great time and were right there each time I took an unexpected swim to get me back into my inflatable kayak! It didn't take me more than a few times to get it drummed into my head to "Let go of the paddle!" What a great group of guides!My husband and I are already planning our river trip for next summer - Lower Canyons of the Salmon River in Idaho. Guess which company we'll be going with! We had a great time .. the river was perfect for kids. crew was awesome and kept is engaged and funfilled the whole trip. Kids say that it was one of the best vacation they had.

This was our second Orange Torpedo Rogue River rafting trip. This is a professional business with great equipment. Our guide was Trevor our friends had Brian; both college students. The guides were terrific. This day was well spent enjoying rafting rapids on the Rogue. Good value for your money.

Thank you! We had a fantastic time on the Torpedo boats half-day trip to Galice! Next time we'll go a full day or possibly sign up for the 3-day trip! Our cousins who live in the area did the 3-day and absolutely loved it! Our guide was Chad and he was great! He instructed us before starting and during the trip.

Third summer in a row with my kids and friends. We are already planning next year. Very fun, very professional and well run trips. The guides are friendly and highly skilled at making sure everyone has a fun and safe trip.

We took a two day inflatable kayak trip down the rogue river in August 2014. We each had our own Kayak- and we were led by our guide Maia. She was exceptional. we had so much fun floating down the river, jumping in to swim in parts, taking rapids in others. Maia's guidance and instructions for each set of rapids was excellent. She had a lot of knowledge on history and wildlife that she shared with us also. My kids are 17 and 18 and this was right up their alley. They loved it. we are looking forward to taking a three day trip next year! Thanks OTT and Maia! P.S. all of the employees were super, even the UO loving grandma! (go UW!) My wife and I bought a trip at auction for the Lower Salmon River with Orange Torpedo. We had an exciting and very pleasurable trip. The guides were phenomenal, the food great and the excitement unmatched. We plan to take the trip again.

I was very happy with the trip. I called the day before to see if my family of 5 could do the trip. I wasn't real sure how long I wanted to go for and in which manner. My son wanted the more adventureous trip while my 2-girls wanted the more mellow trip. We all compromised for the 1/2 day more adventourous trip with all of us going in individual inflatable kayaks to make the experience more exciting. They said I could have a family member go into one of the bigger rafts if they got tired or it was too much. My youngest daughter is almost 10 and did quite well. She went into the boat at the guides asking before the class 3 but then came out soon there after. Two of my kids fell out of boat but were quickly gotten by Jake the guide. We all had a fabulous time and had a wonderful sandwich, lemonade, cookie. Very yummy. Anyhow I would recommend this to anyone in the area.

Our family of 14, grandparents to a 6 year old and all the ages in between, had the time of our lives on our 3 day raft trip with the Orange Torpedo crew. Everyone had exactly what they needed, plenty of wild, beautiful scenery and wildlife spotting, comfortable accommodations, great food, and the complete confidence that the guides knew just exactly how to keep us safe while providing the maximum of fun.
