This place is huge. We spent about 45 minutes and only covered about 1/2 of the place. It's the thrill of the hunt and there's a lot of hunt through.
It is the largest and most popular of the "antique malls" in Jenks but is not a traditional antiques only mall. It has a little bit of everything except crafts. Maybe an upscale flea market might be a better description.
My husband and I love to wander thru River City on the weekends! You can always find something good! Some booths are a little junkier than others, so you do have to spend time looking.
This mall, actually in Jenks, takes a lot of time to see but you can almost always find something. They also have a large selection of local food items.
Lots of stalls with old to newly antique, very eclectic. Wear your walking shoes! Bathrooms are at the very very back, so map them out early if you go. But lots of fun indoors with air and heat so don't have to worry about the weather in there!
Recently traveled here with my wife. We typically do not care for craft things, but if you are so inclined, you will definitely find some goods here. The booths seem to be about 1:6 with actual antique or vintage items. There is truly a lot of people's junk, but not even cool old junk that we all like, more like crap you get that looks like old junk, but made in China. The place is rather large, the prices are pretty good. I imagine it will be pretty hard to leave here empty handed, but I would stick to other places for vintage cool stuff. I do have to say that a good portion of the furniture was nice and cheap.
If you have visited the flea markets in the Tulsa area, you would agree that River City is a step above. There are a variety of items from the past that are available to accent your home, or to restore. The booths are not attended, so all purchases are taken to a central cash register area at the front. It is a great place to visit when you are the hunt for an older item.
Huge building - looks like an old grocery store - with many booths. Some of the booths were so full you couldn't tell what all was in them and you didn't dare pick anything up in case the whole thing came down. Found what we were looking for though. Two suggestions: 1) Need more of a rest/snack bar area and 2) Row or booth labels so you could find a particular booth.
