Nice place for the kids to enjoy the water slides, pools and get cooled off. Discount coupons available at Kroger's.

I have mixed emotions on this water park. First; the parking is crazy. You have to share it with the zoo. So there was an extremely long walk. The only way you can enter is through the zoo. I think they should separate the parking and the entrance. Second; the locker system is not effective. They give you wristbands for the lockers, but they are not waterproof. We lost two while there. Which you would think is no big deal unless someone else finds it and then has access to your personal items. So we had to switch lockers a couple times. I have seen water parks provide keys that you can put keep in pockets or around your wrist. Much better systems. Third; the lines were extremely long. Fourth; the food was expensive, but that is normal for amusement parks. Fifth; it's hard to find seating. But after all that I still liked the park. It was clean and offered quite a few ride opportunities. So if you can get past the massive amount of people you will enjoy this park. I went at the end of August so I may have been dealing with the last minute squeeze in a mini vacation before school people. Most of my issues are easily fixable. I think they have outgrown the location of the water park and I can see where it would be almost impossible to make changes or even expand.

Parking is now $8.00 My daughter, son-in-law and grandson went to zoombezi bay this past latesummer. There were no chairs to sit in. Lots of chairs and loungers with towels on them and no one around, but that's the way it goes. What a pain. The lines for the slides were prohibitively long. Too long to even wait in line even if a raft were available, which they weren't. Not enough handicap parking. All around, a disappointing day.

I always slip away from family and friends and take a trip to Zoombezi Bay by myself to read a book I slip into the wave pool or even go into the adult lazy river. That is one of the bonus is about Zoombezi Bay, there's a lazy river for adults only so you can escape from all the kids and just enjoy around around the lazy river in peace and quiet. I have also been up there with family members and it's a good time to go down the slide with friends and family.

We LOVE this waterpark! It is awesome that not only can we go to all of the areas of the waterpark, we can run over to the zoo to see some animal or animal shows, or just to have a different option for food! The waterpark is so much fun! We just love Baboon Lagoon, which is perfect for the little kids! I even liked going on the different slides in Baboon Lagoon. The Zoom Passes are great when you are wanting to go on slides...you pick the slide you want to go on, scan, then have fun while you wait instead of standing in line. We did that one day and got to go on all of the slides...well, all that we wanted to go on...a few were too steep for my liking! The food is really amazing, too...lots of options!

Great place for kids during the summer. Other rides available for kids and grown-ups. Fun, fun place!

We had a pretty great time here! Everything was open except 1. Cyclone was by far our favorite slide! Body slides hurt quite a bit but i'm sure the much younger population wouldn't mind that at all.

We are in are 50s and we have a great time at the water park. The best time to go is when the sky is overcast, not so many people. The wave pool is great...Lazy river is just that... Lazy... just layed in the big tubes..

We loved this water park due to the fact that it has something for all ages. If you have little ones then there was the dumping bucket and water slides that were just for them. You could let your older kids go on the water slides or in the wave pool. If you like to just float around and take a break then the lazy river hit the spot. They even had a spot just for the adults that just wanted to float around and drink their beer or etc and not worry about getting splashed and have some time away from the kids. ADULT TIME... We will be coming back year after year....

Went there with my wife and our 8 y.o. son…we all had a great time.A couple of tips..1.Do not rely on the park's website.I looked the night before to check on the availability of renting a cabana and none were available, however when we got there and went to rent a locker they had a sign stating they had a cabana available…so check it out at the locker rental station just in case.2.Get there early. We got there at the opening time and had our pick of lounge chairs and had about a 2 to 2 1/2 hour window when it was not packed. 3.Baboon Lagoon actually held the interest of our 8 yo for well over 6 hours(before we got tired…not him!)…we were a little worried that the suggested age range of 2 to 10 would make it too childish for him,but there was a lot for him to do…Finally 4.The food really is very lacking.I have seen multiple reviewers comment on this negative aspect of the zoo and water park so hopefully the management will take note and do something about this.We would have stayed longer to do dinner in the park if it was any good, but we could not stomach the limited and poorly executed menu.

The park was very nice, the lines were outrageous. It would have been so much better, if they could have streamlined and got us through the rides with quicker ease. The food was awful ~ we had the pizza and wings. The price was very high for the food quality.

Great fun for 5 and 7 year old, the new (in 2014) Baboon lagoon has 6-8 water slides for kids under 10. Baboon lagoon also has interactive water fun, buckets, guns and hoses for great kid fun. There are also many large slides, 2 lazy rivers and a XXL wave pool!

I took my 14 year old nephew to Zoombezi Bay yesterday as a goodbye to his summer vacation. We ordered our tickets online at 7 a.m., and reserved our Premium Zoompasses at the same time. This was a sunny Thursday, with a high of 76. We got to the park at 8:30, and had our choice of the closest parking spots. Because we printed our tickets at home, we walked right in when the Zoo opened at 9 a.m.. It was great being with the first crowd to arrive at the Zoo, as we could walk fast and get the best views at the exhibits we visited. When Zoombezi Bay opened at 10:30 a.m., we were the first people at the Zoompass Cabana. That turned out great, because it's approximately a 5 minute process until you receive your wristband. Just a short line of 10 people could turn into an hour wait, so being early and quick is the key. Since we were among the first to enter the park, we were able to choose pretty much whichever lounge chairs we wanted. We got the prime ones, next to the wave pool, on the very end, right next to the Zoompass Scanner and a locker area.If you plan to visit Zoombezi Bay, don't skimp on the Zoompass. The basic pass is $15 and the Premium pass is $20... Get the Premium pass. We seen a kid at the scan station with a basic pass. His wait for the most popular ride was 40 minutes. We scanned our Premium passes. Our wait? 20 minutes! So we just hit the wave pool, floated around to our exit on the Lazy River, then climbed the steps past everyone else, all the way to the top. With the Premium pass, our wait times for the rides averaged 7 minutes each. If you used the Lazy River for travel instead of walking, we could climb to the top of the tower as soon as we got there. It became a common thing to pass the same people waiting in line for a ride multiple times before they finally went. We were trying to keep a total ride count, and we lost track around 26. By 5 p.m., we were actually BORED of the rides, because we had gotten so used to them :)The only thing that I didn't like about this water park is that there is nothing to walk on but concrete. Spend 10 or 15 bucks on some water-shoes. Even with those, my feet still hurt the next morning when getting out of bed... Partly because of all of the stair climbing, thanks to the Zoompass :)It's your trip, do it how you'd like. But I feel that these tips will give the best experience:1. Print everything online before you go. Parking, Admission, Zoompass and Lockers. That's 4 less lines to wait in!2. Get the Premium Zoompass. It's literally HALF the wait of the basic pass, and only $5 more. (Who wants to wait in line for an hour, when you can wait 7 minutes? Apparently, a lot of people...?)3. Arrive at the Zoo 30 minutes before opening for best parking (you'll be very glad at the end of the day).4. Be among the first in line to enter the Water park when it opens 1.5 hours later. You'll still have to redeem your Zoompass and your lockers!5. Lay your towels on lounge chairs as close to the North West corner of the wave pool as you can. Then you're right next to your locker, and a Zoompass Scanner.6. DO NOT FORGET WATER SHOES!! The bathrooms remain surprisingly clean, but you still don't want to go next to a toilet barefoot. Also, the concrete becomes a killer after a few hours.7. Use the Lazy River to get around the park instead of walking. It has plenty of exits, and saves your feet.8. If you grow tired of the waterpark, remember that you also have free admission to the Zoo.
