When they opened, food fresh, people friendly. Too many times bought a hot dog and it was barely warm. Complained and don't get too far with that
Great watching a bunch of kids playing their way to the show. Not a bad seat in the house, go on Monday, $1 hot dogs, beers, pops, popcorn !!
Classic Park in Eastlake Ohio is a fantastic ballpark. Great for family and friends to gather to watch great baseball for a more than fair price. There is not a bad seat in the house including the outfield. It also offers a lot of extras such as the bouncy pit for kids, dog days for the pet, great food and overall just a good time. Don't forget fireworks night.
We enjoyed our family visit to Classic Park. Parking was easy. Bathrooms were pretty clean, employees were friendly and helpful. The only negative is the food lines are VERY long and slow. It is best to get in line as soon as you arrive to get it over with or you will miss a good part of the game. The food is good and the prices are average for baseball parks. Great french fries and good variety of food to choose from. For an extra price (or often included in special ticket prices or packages) you can buy a wristband and have access to the kids section for bouncy house fun, playground equipment, and several more attractions to let the kids burn off some energy and take a break. the patio area with tables with umbrellas is a nice [lace to take a break as well.
Good field, comfortable seats, great competitive baseball. Enjoyed the fireworks too. Reasonable concession prices.
This park is perfect for families. It has big park appeal for people of all ages. They have a fun mascot, special event days and fireworks. Its very economical and all the seats are good. Kids love to get up close to the ballplayers, who often sign autographs.
Thanks for taking the time to write your review of Classic Park and the Lake County Captains. We're glad you enjoyed your time and the ballgame here and we sincerely hope you'll come back again and bring your family and friends!
Classic park is the Cleveland Indians class A minor league farm team. These kids have a lot to prove and their hearts are in the game. Tickets are reasonable and easy on the pocketbook for a family of four to eat, drink and watch baseball. Not a bad seat in the house. In between innings, Grover, Skipper and Cap'n Tony do a wonderful job entertaining.
This is a well-maintained baseball park, well-lit at night, no bad seats, comfortable if a little close (but aren't ALL baseball games supposed to be like that ?) Feels like a small town game but the level of play is farm team and good. (Captains - farm team for the Cleveland Indians.) Parking seems difficult at first, gotta drive around the park to the back, but the cost is, like, $5 for parking and the people there taking your 5-bill will tell you where to go. Need to let off someone handicapped or elderly, no problem. A good time that won't cost you a day's pay.
We sat behind home plate, seats were nice and generous. All the staff we came in contact with were great. Was a bit cold, and ended with rain...would like to try again when the weather was a bit nicer.
Pro: Good view of the game, inexpensive tickets, great handicapped accessibility. Well maintained. Got an average because the parking is bad. If you do not arrive early you park across the street and walk across a narrow people bridge to get yo the stadium. The game end crowd walking back to parking lot jams the bridge for an hour.
Good Place to Catch a game. Belonging to the Lake County Captains, there is nothing like minor league ball. Good time that won't break your bank.
Even though it is home to the single A affiliate to the Indians, the games are fun to watch. I don't think there's a bad seat in the house. The the grassy hill in center and right field is a nice spot to put down a blanket for an afternoon in the sun.If you bring kids to the game, the Captains have things for them to do (speed pitch bouncy house, etc...) for a small fee. Kind of like when you're at a fair. I find the food to be pretty good for stadium food and reasonably priced. Besides the standard hot dogs and fountain soda, they also have funnel cakes and made to order smoothies. The last time I went, we got there pretty early and were approached by an official with a clipboard. He asked if we would be interested in doing one of the on field promotions. I got to participate in the softball toss between innings. It was a blast. I really enjoy catching a game at Classic Park.
We went as Guests from the county to bring our foster children there, the most courteous and helpful staff i have ever had met. ... Pictures with a Player and the Mascots were a highlite. You made some little kids{and Big kids,me} summer. Not a bad seatin the place, kid and adult friendly, getting season tickets next year....
Enjoyable evening watching "A" level baseball. Beautfiul field, and very convenient parking. Very nice food choices and, overall, an excellent experience. For baseball fans, it doesn't get much better.
