Their brochure describes Ohio's Small-Town Museum as "the World's Largest Collection of Small-Town Memorabilia," and it certainly is densely packed with [quoting again here] "neato stuff." It's really a result of one man's 40-year-long passion for cataloging and preserving the history of the community he loves, and if like us, you're lucky enough to be there on a quiet day when Charlie is there to give you a personal guided tour [and maybe even play the Edison Victrola for you], you'll get to hear the stories behind the stuff. If you chuckle at the idea of "Chic-Chic, the world's smartest rooster" or "Buster, the dog that voted Republican," you'll enjoy this museum Don't wait too long though - Charlie's a spry and charming fellow, but he's 82. Highly recommended for history and antique buffs and anyone nostalgic for small-town life as it used to be.
