Loved walking the beach and seeing the sun set. Lots of restaurants in the area to choose from. Good seafood. Shopping is accesible and close.
Wide beach, soft sand, warm water, hardly no seaweed. Very family oriented. Not your average public beach, there's plenty of room to spread out. Facilities like snack bars and restrooms are only at some locations where parking lots are located. All lots are pay per hour.
Lovely white sand beach-great for long walks or making sand castles with kids. Good swimming and shell gathering.
Although it seemed like their were many people on the beach it was very quiet and peaceful. We would stay here again
never too crowded, raked regularly, sunsets are spectacular.. morning are great for shelling.. close to the tiki bar at the doubletree
Quiet & Calm, Not a bunch of children, not that I don't like children. Felt very safe on our walks at sunset & sunrise. There is much too see, lots of birds, fisherman , even saw a wedding being performed on the beach
We are lucky here in Redington to have a beautiful wide beach with sugar soft sand and usually calm waters. So many of us enjoy walking the shoreline, playing volleyball, flying kites, skim boarding or just spreading a blanket for a picnic lunch. There is a neat bird rescue/sanctuary and friendly people everywhere.
The beach was clean with lots of people walking along the water. There were people fishing so we stopped to talk to them - very friendly. The beach has a lot of cut through spots to Gulf Blvd. which is nice. Public parking and bathrooms are available.
This is a great wide beach with plenty of room for everybody. There is a $1/hour parking lot at 182 Ave., with washrooms as well. There are restaurants in the area but nothing on the beach.
