This small office holds a big surprise--WENDELL!! Wendell Diamal, the owner/masseuse/therapist (licensed BSPT,LMT) is like magic to my aching body. Whether you live in the Orlando area or are just looking to take a break from the parks, this is the best 'value for price paid'. Wendell is CLEAN, even down to his always white shoes. His office is CLEAN--not fancy, you are not paying for the frills, so if you want the candles, robes & frills-go to the Ritz Carlton. He does have soft lighting and music. But, mostly he has a 'touch' and more importanly, he listens to you and targets the areas you want. Whenever I am in town, I make an appointment for a full massage or even just a foot massage/accupressure treatment. And, you pay for what you get, a good massage treatment...and not the extras. This is 'value for price paid'!!He competes against the new mall massage shops, like 'massage envy'...but there is NO comparison to the personalized treatment he gives you. He is located in Oakland, about 20-25 minutes from the 'parks'. Oakland, is next to Winter Garden, located on Lake Apopka--this is the REAL FLORIDA!! Orange trees and Live Oaks line the roads. Take an afternoon to check out this area, have a massage and then lunch or dinner in Winter Garden. But do MAKE AN APPOINTMENT--whether by phone or email, as he does not take walk-ins and does not really have a lounge area to wait. He takes appointments and sticks to the time he has you booked.
