Marengo Ridge Golf Course is located northwest of Chicago off of Interstate 90 on Route 20. It is somewhat of a long drive and is located out in a rural area, yet the drive is worth it. This 18 hole golf course is in excellent shape, with well groomed bent grass fairways and well manicured greens. This course is suitable for intermediate golfers with wide, forgiving fairways, and challenging enough for better golfers as well. Plentiful sand traps are on the course with several holes encountering water. We golfed for an extremely low rate of $22/person with cart with a 3:30 pm tee off time. Green fees seem to range from $22 up to $37, and the course uses a special pricing formula where very good pricing exists quite often. In any case, this golf course is certainly worth it for this price range.
