This is a very nice local water park. Ideally for kids 10 and under. Older kids may enjoy it for an hour or so. There are a couple of slides, a lazy river, and a large area for smaller children. There is also a sand area.

This water park has a lot going for it. The main pool has zero-depth entry areas with two small kiddie slides, moving to a separated, deeper lap swim area intended for adults and older kids. A big, shaded sandbox nearby is as much fun for some kids as the water areas. The three large slides are all pretty good. The tube slide is a bit leisurely, depositing you into the equally low-key lazy river. The two body slides are quick and a little more intense. I have been very impressed by the ample lifeguard coverage here. Signs in the locker rooms remind parents that they are expected to supervise their children at ALL times, though this is often ignored. I once saw the rescue effort in action, when a lifeguard pulled a little (3-4?) girl out after she drifted into deep water, unbeknownst to her parents. Though I watch my kid like a hawk, I appreciate that if I lost sight of her, a lot of help is also on the lookout.In all, we like that this compact park gives you a complete water park experience without a long drive or a really high price tag. We generally take advantage of the reduced price "twilight" admission, when crowds are smaller and the sunburn factor drops off.
