Great little chocolate store with yummy ice cream as well. They had some really unique chocolates. Could have a little more variety in the gourmet chocolate section but what they have is very good. A little pricey but worth a trip.

I live in the local area and have gone past without stopping for years and years! Yesterday I needed a last minute Valentine gift for my wife and so I stopped. Amazing! Chocolate and more chocolate! And ice cream too! Fantastic! I have to take my wife there as she loves ice cream....

This is a nice little store. They have all kinds of chocolate candies and fudge. You can definitely take care of your sweet tooth. They currently have the theme of Valentines Day. Bouquets of chocolate roses. It does not get better than this. They also have ice cream. :)

Ice cream! Fudge! Chocolate! Friendly staff! This place has it all if you're looking for a sweet treat! My daughter and I each got an ice cream cone (delicious!), and then made our way around the store as we enjoyed it. There are a ton of truffle flavors, chocolate creations, and sweet treats. If you are looking for a unique chocolate treat, this is the place. Chocolate pizzas, and deviled eggs that look like the real deal, but it's chocolate!! Fun! We ended up leaving with about 20 truffles of different flavors, a pound of fudge, a small bag of candied nuts, and those 2 ice cream cones for the tune of about $25. Oh so good!

This little factory & store is a very relaxed treat all around. The ice cream is really delicious! There are all kinds of chocolate treats to buy! What I enjoyed browsing most is the whimsical selection of gift chocolates. There are chocolate guitars, chocolate makeup, chocolate roses, etc. The next time I need a gift, this will be one of the places I shop. Oh, and the staff are very friendly! Don't forget to take a peek at the guest registry. I saw that someone from India had been there just a few days before we went.

This little shop has the best fudge in the world!!! Prices are reasonable and very worth it! This is a tradition for our family after visiting Shawnee Natl. Forest.

This is a nice little shop that sells candy & ice cream. The employee that served us was friendly. We had ice cream & it was good. The shop is closed on Sundays though.

We were on the way to Shawnee Forest, when we saw the sign for the Chocolate Factory. We stopped and were very impressed with the quality of the chocolates available and the selection. Prices were very reasonable considering the high quality. We usually only eat European made chocolate, but Chocolate Factory's chocolate is as good. Great place to stop to pick up presents for friends back home. We live 4 hours away but would definitely go back to visit them. Staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. Thanks for the great chocolate!

The people that work here are unbelievably friendly. I could have stayed and talked for hours. And there chocolate is incredible. Well worth the stop.

We passed the Chocolate Factory on the way to the Garden of the Gods. And the whole time we were hiking, we were thinking that we have to stop by on the way back. So we did! Despite all the neat looking homemade chocolate, we decided on the ice cream. They had a pretty good selection of different ice creams, and I decided on something with peanut butter and truffles in it. Yum yum. I would recommend stopping here after a hike.

The Chocolate Factory near Dixon Springs State Park in southernmost Illinois is simply irresistible. May I suggest the orange blossoms, toffee squares and my all time favorite the milk chocolate terrapins. If you are an ice cream lover, hand dipped ice cream is also available. A must stop during your next visit to southernmost Illinois.
