Cheney pool is part of the Lockport Township Park District, and as such is part of their summer pool pass promotion. The drawback is that with two outdoor pools and one part time indoor pool, there is usually a crowd there. The pool is always well maintained and they have "Adult Swim" times so Mom & Dad can have some pool time without getting splashed by the Kiddies. I do wish they could bring back the staffed snack bars though. Currently they only have vending machines for snacks.

It's a nice pool for families. It goes all the way from zero depth to twelve feet. There are many lifeguards on duty and they have swim lessons available. There is a small area to bring small snacks(their rule) and beverages. And they have a water slide.
