When my child went there early after the facility first opened, it was offered to come take the skating sessions that would be offered (30 min classes) and he would also receive 8 vouchers for free skate time. I felt this was a good deal. Then after signing up for the classes, the owner/manager said they would not honor the vouchers anymore because it was being abused and they had lost about $5000. This is after my child is there anticipating being able to skate prior to his lesson. No, the manager was just going to let my kid sit there and wait over an hour before the class started instead of honoring what was offered. First of all, he should have had a better system in place to track the vouchers so it couldn't be abused. Don't penalize me for the mistake. He said he'd rather refund money to myself and for 3 other kids (friends of mine) instead of exercising some basic customer service. If you give good service, then people will tell about it, and your business grows. Well he just lost four customers to start.

Center Ice is what Sandy Springs has needed for years. It is clean, well run, the ice is perfect, and the facility is first class. The ice will eventually smell like hockey, but right now it smells like roses and popcorn. Parking can be a challenge but that's the only negative I could muster. As soon as they get the hockey program underway, this will be a first class facility and in the absolutely perfect location. We will spend many hours skating at Center Ice.
