One of the most unique experiences I have had lately is nestled in South Georgia, in a little community called Black Creek in Ellabell, Georgia. If you are looking for a great little golf course, look no further. I HAVE FOUND IT! Black Creek Golf Club is one of the greates golf courses I have ever played. Mr. Eddie Dennis is the owner and Ed Dennis, his son, is the director of golf. These men, along with their friendly staff, Dan, Tom, and the rest ..... even down to the greens keeper will make your visit a memorable one. The course winds it's way through a quiet neighborhood. It is challenging with five different tee settings. With all the amenities ...driving range, a practice putting green, and snack bar. On the course, the fairways are well maintained and the greens are great.I spoke with Darrin Hollingsworth, the new manager of Bogey Creek Grill there on the grounds. He spoke of their great new menu selections. The Bogey Creek Grill is open Monday through Sunday for breakfast and lunch, and Friday for dinner with reservations. It is a delightful place to dine!Black Creek Golf Club is located approximately 25 miles from Savannah, Georgia. From Savannah, take I-16 west to Exit 143, travel west on Highway 280 approximately 2 1/4 miles, turn right on Wilma Edwards Road to Black Creek Golf Clubhouse on the right.
