Nice place to walk in the nature. Some spots have stunning views! I strongly recomend a visit to "Laguna de los Peces".

Very nice place to stay. Only rather crowdy, we expect it to be more quiet. Although really worthwhile to visit. Lovely swimming water.Our trip back to Spain through Portugal was splendid. Highly recommended

Great water in a beautiful setting. Great place for families. Besides swimming you can hire a paddle boat or a canoe.

The lake is awesome, the nature and wildlife incredible. You can also do some hiking to discover smaller natural lakes.

Great location to relax and play in the snow. Its very quiet and all the local people are very friendly and helpfull. Theres not so many places to stay at night so if you need you must book it with some time in advanced.

The lago is super-nice with several sandy beaches for wonderful "refreshing" swimming in the clear but COLD lake. It is in a beautiful mountain setting with some wonderful small Spanish towns around (and Portuguese towns just over the border). The visitor's center has good exhibits. Saw some big trout in the lake but, strangely, no one fishing. We went during the US Labor Day holiday the first weekend of September and things were definitely winding down and apparently much less crowded than during the peak of summer. We also saw a large, singular grove of HUGE ancient chestnut trees in a "church yard" of a very old church sourrounded by a stone wall. It was just a very tranquil and peaceful place as we were the only visitors. I would highly recommend a visit to the lake and its surrounds. Puebla de Sanabria is one of the larger towns and is also quite nice and has a nicely lit castle at night.

Lago de Sanabria is one of my favourite spots in the world... If you´re looking for sun, swimming, water fun, good food, relaxed environment, you MUST go there. A huge lake that offers camping, nature, beautiful surroundings, good food and friendly locals. What can you ask for more???Enjoy

Es un lugar más que recomendable para pasar un fin de semana o para una espapada de un día y reecontrarse con la naturaleza...Tanto en el lago como haciendo excursiones por sus alrededores...

El lago de Sanabria es un lugar maravilloso donde disfrutar de diversas atracciones. Tanto nadar como pasear, alojarte en un camping o en un hotelito en los pueblos de los alrededores harán una estancia maravillosa. No te defraudará en absoluto.

No pudimos disfrutar de ninguna ruta porque estuvimos en febrero y había nevado y los caminos estaban con hielo. Lago de sanabria espectacular y el lago de los peces estaba helado, pero con nieve eran unas vsitas espectaculares

Estuvimos alojados en Zamora y decidimos visitar el lago y el pueblo. El paraje es espectacular y la sensación es de relajación total. Si van con niños les gustará mucho. Hacen un paseo en barco pero tiene horarios que se deben conocer de antemano para poder hacerlo. Merece mucho la pena.

Parque natural muy bonito, como todos, tiene muchos sitios donde hospedarse y muchas cosas para hacer. En invierno solo tienes paisajes porque no hay actividades ni nada abierto.

He estado en el Lago de Sanabria y esa zona en todas las estaciones del año y cada cual tiene su encanto y merece la pena acercarse en cualquiera de ellas, eso sí, bien abrigadito en los meses fríos. Es el mayor lago de origen glaciar de la península y se puede hacer senderismo por los alrededores, ir a la playita en verano, tomar algo en los bares de alrededor, y subir por la carretera de San Martín de Castañeda a contemplarlo desde los distintos miradores que hay. Una preciosidad.

Un poco lejos de Zamora pero vale la pena. El personal del centro de interpretación está muy preparado. El lago una maravilla
