Buzzing Bath Street great architectue, close to the major attractions, restaurants galore to choose from and shopping area.
Won't find anywhere like this in England, close to transport and nice restaurants and bars very close by. Street performers, great day out
I really enjoyed walking in Bath, I could have spent days roaming around the streets. The streets are buzzing today like they did in the old times when Bath was the place to go to socialize
Surrounded by beautiful architecture - would be a fantastic place to sit out for a drink on a warm summer day.
Yes its like a high street, but you where esle can you shop in a heritage city with cobbled streets, alleys and unique buildings. There are modern high stree stores but they all blend in very well and not to overpowering. Many street shows take place on afternoons (all free). So when you're tired and want to experience the atmosphere, just find a seat or corner and relax. In all a shopper's paradise
This is a fabulous location to do a spot of shopping and take in the beautiful surroundings that Bath has to offer.
The entire centre of Bath is like a museum. Great attention has been paid so that shop branding is discrete and doesn't spoil the overall look of the place. Bath Street is one of the many cobbled streets lined with an arcade of columns beautifully lit up at night. It leads to the old entrance of the Roman Baths. Etched into the floor is the World Heritage Logo just to confirm how unique this historic city is.
If you want architectural buildings mixed with an amazing amount of shops and choice, then the streets of Bath are for you. We thoroughly enjoyed Bath, the impressive buildings, the huge number of shops including many individual places alongside the big names and brands. Great shopping experience with restaurants, coffee shops and cake cafes to try, will be back to spend even more money!
Great view of the city can be done just on the streets. The Bath Abbey & the Roman Baths are just in the center of it all. Parking nearby was about 3 lbs every 2 hours.
Just another high street but with some interesting nooks if you look. Also many nice coffee houses so nice for a little stroll but no a main attraction.
London, but smaller, that's how I'd describe Bath Street and surrounding area. Everything you could possible want within easy walking distance and with the inimitable charm that Bath has. Lovely old buildings alongside more modern architecture. Look up when you get the chance, there are some interesting things on the top of some of the buildings that you'll miss if you simply shop.
Bath St in Bath. It has a unique 'Bath' like look to it. A great place to walk along to the Spa, to have a bath, in Bath. It's all very Bath - esque - pretty !
Actually Bath Street is just a short street but surrouding this are many shops that circle it, ie. Union Street, Cheap Street, etc. There are many cafes and benches to rest your feet when tired. So many sales that makes you want to stop at each and every shops.
....enjoy a stroll thru the city and enjoy window shopping - if not more - and the lovely ambience of this very special city.
We loved the city of Bath! All the buildings are built from the same stone. It is a rich town. Our tour guide told us there are no poor areas in Bath. We were only in Bath for an afternoon (long enough to squeeze in Costa coffee, the Roman Baths, a walk to the water & dinner). I only wish we had more time here!
