A beautiful setting, well work the visit. The gardens are a sight to below. Lots of events during the summer.

Although we are only open during the week, we are open until 8pm, so people who are at work during the day have the opportunity to visit in the evening. Very good to hear you enjoyed your time at Rockingham Speedway, but we are actually Rockingham Castle and don't have anything to with them. Still lovely to hear good things about the other attractions in the area!

It is amazing how high up we actually are - you can see five counties from the castle which really does emphasise its defensive position. I do recommend the tea room for your next visit as the cakes are delicious!

What a fantastic idea for a birthday outing! I definitely agree that doing the outside tour first is a good idea as it gives you a sense of context before you go inside. We are also very lucky with our guides here as they are all very knowledgeable and enthusiastic!
