Went to see Romeo & Juliet on Saturday, and both my daughter and I loved it. Fantastic production with great music. It was great to be so close to the stage and not having to pay the earth to be their. Comfy seats and just a really nice atmosphere in the theatre. Will definitely visit again.

We made our first visit for a performance of Romeo and Juiliet. It was amazing! All the professionalism of the west end, but without the crowds and expense. A great cafe, with plenty of capacity in the interval. Lots of really good restaurants near the theatre. Will be planning visit very soon!

Came to see Room on the Broom with my daughter and this theatre is a great intimate venue. Hard to distinguish the simply wonderful and charming production with a review solely of the theatre but the seats seemed to provide good views without exception, I particularly liked the fact that they were paired independently (ie my daughter could bounce around in her seat with only me feeling the effects). Access was restricted with so many children's buggy's around and the staff didn't seem to really know their way around the seats with any great confidence. But I would visit again to see another production, the location so convenient for everything that Kingston has to offer.

I treated a friend to see sign of the times for the Saturday matinee. It was only my 2nd visit to the theatre. I booked us the cheapest seats pit cushions not realising it is exactly what it says cushions sitting on the floor. We thought we would try it out and see. Would certainly not recommend those seats and would always go for proper seats in the future. The other issue was there was no heating which we were warned about so it was freezing sitting on the floor. You are allowed to take a drink in from the bar which is great. The performance was excellent acting by two guys for the whole show. Really love this little theatre and will be booking again but not pit cushions seats a learning lesson !!!! Afterwards we visited Jamie Oliver's just over the road. Highly recommend . All in all a great afternoon out with a friend.

I have just come in from the first night of the Christmas Speial, The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe. It is great this is a musty see for everyone, with or without children. I am a 68 year old big kid. The production is brilliant and I loved very moment of it.

Being in my 60's , the songs were apart of my life for many a year ; the theatre isentirely civilksed , yet not OTT ; easily accessible by walking or simple public transport and in neighbourhood of many a decent resto/watering hole !

Staying near Kingston I came across this little local theatre so I decided to go and see a play. I saw Single Spies, and I can honestly say I have no idea what the play was about, as I could not hear any of the actors. I had good seats so that wasn't the problem the only actor I could hear was Michael Pennington as he had a typical theatre voice, the rest of them had a mumble. I'm told there are no microphones because the shape of the theatre is meant to enable the sound. Anyway all I can say was I had the rudest theatre person I've ever sat next to, and I don't like sharing a seat with a stranger, so I don't get why the seats are double. Directly around me I had seven people asleep, one was even snoring, so I felt like I was watching a play at the local nursing home. Funnily enough they all woke up at the end to clap really loudly, not sure which part of the play they enjoyed the most, maybe the fact that it was so quiet they could sleep. Anyway my overall experience was that I didn't feel like returning.

We do attend a good number venues in London, Festival Hall, Barbican, Albert Hall, Round House,Troxy and so on, but theater has never been on my hit list.So after all the years we decided to pop in, nice enough theatre, cost saving measures very visible, nice bar area, no ques for the toilet, interesting seats. So much to recommend.GIven the shows run for a very short during, must cost plenty for all the backdrops etc which translates into higher seat prices.Might return for the right show, sign up some better jazz artists, plenty to choose from as venues such as Ronny Scotts and Jazz Cafe (terrible venue) are over priced as is that spot in London selling pizzas. Then there is the 606 club, also over priced and lacking serious artists.

The play Single Spies came across so well in this small intimate theatre. No one is more than a few yards from the stage in the stalls, so one can be part of the action. Helpful staff and good area for refreshments.

They put on some good plays and the acting is very professional. You can hear the voices very well and seating is good and the stage is very visible. I found it easier than I thought to get there from London and well worth the effort. I will now keep an eye on their performances.

One of the if not the best theatre in the South West of London.Great prices, and good shows.I love this place.

This is a great venue it is a pleasure to be in. The space works well, seats are comfortable, good sound and sight lines. Enough toilets to avoid long waits. Order internal drink prior to the show starting, always advisable everywhere.

We were expecting to see Portuguese Fado performance, but it was a sort of play based on Fado, with dance and some music, so disappointed.
