Sent my daughter and our German exchange student to the Fudge Kitchen for a 'different' activity from the usual historic visits and theme parks. Could not have worked out better. Both girls absolutely loved their time in the kitchen and came home buzzing with how to make fudge. They loved the flavours they tried and we loved the fudge they made and brought home! Not the cheapest trip on the surface, but for what they learnt and the fudge they brought back with them it was well worth the money. We will be sending home one very happy German!!!! Many thanks for a first rate experience.
The Fudge Kitchen serves the best fudge and it comes with a smile from amazing people that work there. Very friendly! It is a must if visiting Windsor.
Visited the Fudge Kitchen yesterday and what can I say!! Very warm and welcoming staff and I was able to taste whichever fudge I liked (which only made the choice more difficult!). The fudge i bought was not only incredibly tasty, but also has this melt in your mouth texture that i've never had before with fudge. In my opinion, it's absolutely amazeballs!!! Would recommend this place to anyone, and i'll be coming back for more!!
What a charming, delightful shop. The staff especially jimmy were fabulous - him and my son playing the ukulele - priceless!
Lovely range of flavours and very friendly staff. They are happy for you to sample the flavours to make sure you choose the right one. Fudge can be kept at room temperature for up to 3 weeks or kept in the freezer for future use so you can stock up if you dont live nearby! Salted Caramel Fudge was my fave!!!
Free samples of the different flavoured fudges offered by staff who were really fun and friendly. The only challenge was in choosing which fudges to buy as I didn't taste a single one I didn't like! Will definitely be back
For my Birthday this year (January) I had a lovely treat in the form of a trip to the Fudge Kitchen to make our own fudge. Not only are the people who work there absolutely lovely and full of fun normally, during the time I was there (at least two hours!) we were hugely entertained and informed at the same time.We were taught how to make fudge from the cauldron up, through all of the stages (explained wonderfully) culminating in cutting our own fudge to take home as well as extra treats! The constant fudge 'on tap' throughout the day was amazing, as was the uniform (A genie's hat.)Although the building is wonderfully kooky, there was plenty of room for the five us (including a guy with two crutches and a cast!) so I'd recommend it for all types!Overall it was an amazing experience, the people who work there are true demonstrators of what it takes to be an entertainer and a confectioner!**We are the music makers, And we are the dreamers of dreams**
I booked a fudge making experience here for myself and two friends during a short girly break in Windsor. It was easy to book and well worth the money considering the time that you spend in the kitchen itself and the amount of fudge that you get to take away as well. We made toffee fudge and it was great fun getting an insight into how it's all made and the work that goes into it. The two guys who were in the shop that day were extremely passionate about their job and a little eccentric too! If you want to make fudge whilst being serenaded by a moustachioed man playing a ukelele then this place is for you! It was definitely one of the highlights of the trip and I therefore recommend it to anybody who is considering going. Well done to Jim who was our teacher on the day - you did a great job.
We were ushered into this tiny shop to watch fudge being made along with a free taster. If you like the eccentricity of Russell Brand and Johnny Depp (pirates of the Caribbean) you have come to the right place. It's a crazy little shop. We watched fudge being made at back folded back and forth to set and waited in anticipation of the tasting. Dark chocolate and Maldon sea salt! A small piece was cut off and omg it just melted in your mouth like you had died and gone to heaven. A must see and taste if you are in Windsor.
the young guys working here are genuinely having a great time, cracking jokes and having fun with kids and adults alike. You get to see Some of the processes involved in making the different types of fudge and the guys are very chatty explaining the different steps and discussing all sorts of culinary experiences. They told me they are opening in selfridges in london very soon. Good on them! And good luck!
We stayed in the fudge shop for over an hour just being entertained by the hilarious staff. They performed, sang, told us jokes, gave us a fudge demonstration and generally chatted away. It was honestly one of the funniest hours of our entire trip! Can't remember his name but the guy with the tattoo of Hey Jude on his forearm is an absolute diamond. The fudge was delicious too (I would particulars recommend the chocolate orange and salted caramel flavours). They are very generous and let you try as many tasters as you like. A great little shop which shouldn't be missed!
After a tour of Windsor Castle, we were enticed by the fantastic staff members playing the guitar and performing top class magic tricks (Ash). It didn't end there, we were given a full on demonstration of how fudge is made by an extremely passionate, talented and friendly member (Sam). We walked out of the shop with three different types of amazing fudge which we got to sample and a massive smile to say the least. It's service like this which makes all the difference. A must for anyone visiting Windsor...it was the highlight of our day, thanks!!! Katherine & Sean (Gibraltar)
Just visited the Fudge Kitchen shop in Windsor and just wow. Extremely likeable guys working there, fantastic fudge and lots of fun. Got to see both some fudge being made - very cool - and was lucky enough to catch a surprise performance by the resident magician. Well worth coming to Windsor from London (mainly) to visit these guys.
Do you like fudge? Do you like great tasting fudge? Do you like great service, enthusiasm all delivered with a smile and the odd innuendo, and a smattering of stylish moustaches....? You need to visit these guys, great fun and great fudge
Visited the shop yesterday and was so entertained by the guy making one of the first Christmas pudding fudges, also had a taste when completed, yummy! Fascinating to watch and the guys sense of humour just great.... Well worth a visit and so many more fudge options to taste and purchase, we couldn't resist buying a few.... Enjoy x
