well we had never visited her but after reading TA and asking friends we decided weather whatever we were going here on mothers day! and my my am i glad we did! Dont get me wrong the free mummy admission was a big pull so thanks MOF for that hehe but TBH the admission prices were reasonable. We had a walk around after the inital play of the day in the fantastic outdoor play area on arrival. we went onto have a look around, now dont get me wrong this is not a massive place and you could stretch it out a day if u really gave some of the play areas a good explore but today was cold but im sure we will re visit in the summer and have a ball.We went to the ariel play area and it was amazing! excellent little people ariel play so they really felt free and part of the bigger picture, the rock clibing was hilarious and i quickly realised this was more of an adventure play with a hint of a farm lol, feeding the lambs and goats was and alwasy is hilariously funny! the petting area was fab albeit crowded at the start of the day so we skipped it lol u pet one rabbit u have petted them all so we took advantage of the quieter play areas while other areas were busy! we hopped indside to warm me the mummy up lol while daddy and DD aged 3 (4 this month) played on the extensive indoor play area and crazy slides! we then ventured back outside as the inside was quickly filling up with lunctime visitors! we headed back into the food area and it was heaving gone 1:30 no where to sit.....hindered by it being super chilly out and on and off drizzle so im sure in the summer it wont stay rammed all day like today, still we found a floor space and off we 3 went to play! had a fantastic day and would highly reccommend it.enjoy

we turned up on 14th March it was a little cold well a lot with the breeze swirling around. We took with us two sets of grandparents, two aunties and a 20 month old and a 3 month old. This is not my first trip to mead I have been there many times over the years. In that time I have seen it grow and grow. There are many parts of the old farm which I loved it was quieter and more intimate with the younger guests, these days everything is on a much larger scale. It works well though and our eldest loved it especially shaggys play world which was a good shelter. The alpacas where a nice new touch and very friendly and I got to feed a reindeer. Cost wise if the boys where older would be expensive nearer £40 for the four of us. Toilets where clean , only downside not really anywhere to be able to breastfeed comfortably. Would recommend as a visit but on a hotter day.

There are several open farms within a twenty minute drive of Mead Open Farm, this is one of the better ones. The entry price is perhaps a little high but you do get an awful lot for you money. It is a well laid out clean and well managed. The staff were all polite and friendly, food was reasonably price. There is all of the usual farm animals you would expect here alongside lots of play equipment etc. Well worth a family day out.

Had an annual pass for a year, is about £10 a visit or £45 for the year. The farm is great for children and the petting sessions allow children to strike animals in a controlled environment. The best thing about Mead is the soft play which is fantastic. Indoors, huge and a great place to let the kids run free. The outdoor play areas are fantastic as well in the right weather.Food in the cafe is pretty average but for kids it's adequate, they often have a picnic marquee as well offering a covered place to bring your own food which is a nice touch, free parking

Firstly this place is not cheap £10-75 for adults and £9-75 for kids it's much cheaper weekdays after school if you are local at £6-50 and £5-50 but it's great for kids young and a bit older. The indoor play area has all the usual safe areas as many places the slides are great though and the cafe prices are very reasonable £1-95 for coffee and there is a lot of seating. On a good weather day there is loads to do outside go karts mini golf climbing areas etc. and of course feeding and petting the animals feed sold by the bag at 75p. The staff here are all very friendly very quick with a smile and there is loads of parking spaces but can get quite muddy if it's been raining so wellies would be a good idea , all in all a good many hours can be spent here.

One of the nicer farms to vist close to Milton Keynes, getting there was easy enough with plenty of free parking. There was enough for the kids to do with plenty of animals to look at a a few to pet. There was a good cafeteria with very good children play areas divided into appropriate age groups with enough for the kids to do to allow the parents time for a coffee break. Visiting prior to Christmas, we did nor explore much outside, but there appeared to be lots of outdoor activities too. Would come again.

This is definitely one of the best farms I have been to - there are quite a lot of farm animals that you can stroke, pat and feed (in comparison to other farms around the area) like sheep, reindeer, pigs, rabbits and loads more, the outside play equipment like the "sky-walk", climbing frames etc are all very good fun and enjoyable for children. You can even bottle feed the lambs if you get the right time and season. there is a massive food hall which isn't massively overpriced and indoor play area with slides and ball-pits, picnic tables outside if the sun comes out, crazy golf area, go kart track, rock climbing, play pit with sit-in JCB's to move sand etc. It's all great fun and a fantastic day out with the family and it wasn't too pricey

The 'sky walk' and climbing rock made this a great visit for our grandson. And the myriad goats and other farm animals were most enjoyable too. However the 'crazy golf' was badly in need of maintenance/upgrade
