Not been back to the Bullers for a while but it is a very fine place to go and enjoy large events. The Ythan Fiddlers from Ellon have used it for some of its special get togethers. Catering was very friendly and efficient. If travelling in the North East of Scotland you can't do much better.

We walked up to the bullers from Cruden Bay via slains castle. This is a great walk with wonderful sea views and lots of wild birds including Buzzards, gulls and robins on this last trip. Ground can be a bit boggy so good shoes recommended, also gauze can get in the patway so cover your legs. The bullers are beautiful, being a Durdle Door fan any sea arch has a fascination for me.

Always a fantastically rewarding walk whatever the weather is like, beautiful on a summers day but for me even more enjoyable on a wild and windy day when the inrushing sea is forced up and out of what could almost be described as a whales blowhole. Because of the cliff side exposure keep your children close and your dogs on a lead, but let them enjoy the rugged beauty of the North Easts coastline.

you do not need your own transport to see this attraction as public transport will drop you off and pick you up by the car park and the buses run every hour.If like me you have a dog then like my one they will enjoy the walk, but keep it on a tight lead as you would not want it to fall off the cliffs and of course neither do you.We (the dog and I) enjoy the Bullers all year round. there is nothing better than going there and the wind blowing away the cob webs. The best time to go is between April and September? when the Puffins are there nesting. If they are there then I ma sure that you will love them as I do

Loved this walk was amazing views and very picturesque. Walked from cruden bay to the bullers and back, took a few hours, but was worth it because you get to see the castle at the start near cruden bay, also walk along the beach at fraserburgh too which is nice.

Situated just north of Cruden Bay with it's own car park. It is about a 5 minute walk from the car park. It is unsuitable for wheel chair users as the path there is very narrow, uneven and on the cliff edge. Lots of beautiful and unusual butterflies on the path. The rock formation is stunning and if in the area this should not be missed.

Just happened across this place one Sunday while out for a drive, the scenery is certainly dramatic, not for the faint hearted, as its plunging cliffs, & you walk very near the edge, but it was a beautiful day & it is well worth a visit. You could almost see the smugglers & the places where they could hide here

Very pretty area to visit, with excellent views along the coastline. It is a natural area with unique rock formation. Well worth a visit.

When we went it was a beautiful blue sky day and it wasn't windy. The views are stunning however if your taking a child or dog or even an oap keep them under control as the edge is very near the cliff face. The views are exception though. Their is also a car park at the beginning of the track which holds plenty of cars.

i cannot believe that the Scottish tourist board do not make more of their natural attractions! This is a fantastic cove, at CruddenBay, with incredible rocks and a very interesting story. There are birds galore and some very challenging paths for those who like that sort of thing (being a scaredy-cat myself i stuck to the safer ones)this place is beautiful, it would be sad to miss it on your trip through the east coast.

Beautiful sites, lovely short hike, great place to spread a blanket and have a picnic. Great for bird watching,. Saw some jelly fish in the water.

It was a Sunday so frequency of public transport wasn't great. We had to wait for the bus to Cruden bay for 30 minutes at the Aberdeen exhibition centre bus stop. Finally the driver was very kind to drop us at the right bus stop. We started our walk from the car park near Cruden bay post office. It starts with a nice and wide trail in the green patch. As soon as we cleared the green patch we were out in the open close to Slains castle. It's a ruined castle and is restricted to enter. We were lucky that it was open and there were few more souls. There is patch of rocks and boulders where you can get awesome views of the north sea. We followed the trail from the path next to the castle. The trail breaks off the main path where there are some stone and into the grassy path which is not easily visible. Follow that trail along the coast line. It offers amazing views of the cliffs and the views are totally worth the effort. The trail is slippery and muddy with patches of thorny bushes so good trecking boots and full length pants are absolutely recommended. It runs very close to the edge so great caution is necessary. The entire trip was 3-3:15 hrs long. The trail ends at the cottages close to bullers of buchan. Again we had to wait for 30 min to get a public transport. But highly recommended and amazing scenary all along the coastline.

It's a great place! We scored with the weather hugely. At just before 9am midweek, we were the only people present which was rather nice. Some of the tracks look dangerous so we avoided those and took the more travelled paths. We saw one Puffin only as we were quite late in the season. I was delighted. Definitely worth a visit. Bit hairy at times. :-)

Awesome was the word the bairn used soon as she saw the arch with the sea birds flying all around it and awesome it was. If you like birds, puffins especially or just love to watch the sea crashing against the shore head along. Not far from Aberdeen a wee gem.

We were looking to get out of the city and this was a nice attraction - there isn't much to see but the cliffs are stunning and on a clear day you can see out to sea. Good walk in both direction - we only took one route but it was very picturesque - no cafe or shelter - but that was probably one of the nicest things about it!!
