Absolutely beautiful especially in the summer, the gardens are well kept and in summer time little cafe is open with bouncy castle, food and mini golf. Plenty space for a picnic

Wilton Lodge Park incorporates the |hawick Museum; a new Bandstand, a historical Walled Garden, pyutting, bowling; planted shrub borders, wonderful trees; sports fields and the River Teviot running through it. It is one of the most spectacular natural settings for a Park in Scotland.

Take a stroll in Wilton Park, and enjoy the views of the river Teviot, the flower gardens, or just breath the fresh border air.

Enjoyed the gardens while visiting the the Hawick Museum. They are worth a walk around and the waterfall was in full flow the day we visited.

Really nice place to walk there is putting and cafe and a Museum, The only down side is toilets or lack of them when cafe is closed. Plenty awesome trees and geotags hidden within this park - well worth some of your time if you head to Hawick

We came across this park whilst staying in Hawick,it has lovely grounds with the river running through it.The walled gardens are well worth a visit and are very well presented. The park was great for walks and also had plenty of facilities for children to play.We also found a free car park nearby and the museum is set in the grounds and is well worth a visit.

Visited this park on a beautiful summers day. There are lovely walled gardens full of colour and a wander round the park is very pleasant. There is a nice fountain which actually works ( unusual in Scotland ) and you come across sculptures of Hawicks sporting heroes. There is also a waterfall and a putting green. A lovely place to spend an hour or two.

The park is massive and is a great place to go with the family on a summers day. There is a play park for the kids and the museum across the water is well worth a visit. Filled with local history and Steven Hislop and Jimmy Guthrie rooms filled with the success of the two local racers. There is a lovely cafe that sells great snacks and there is also a putting green and crazy golf there aswell. There was a bouncy castle at the cafe aswell which was great for the small children. It's a lovely park to walk round with lots of places to sit.

Such a nice park. Beautifully maintained and immaculate. Lots to see and do, including a lovely 18 hole putting green. We had a lovely ham salad sandwich from the cafe and a nice piece of carrot cake with cups of tea. Lovely woman serving too.So nice to still have all this nowadays.Thank you Hawick Council x

Great walks with or without dogs, Museum in the park was great too! By the river, plenty parking and close to town centre. Saturday market in the carpark was busy and full of local farm produce.

This is a lovely park and large too. Lovely winter walks along the river and long summer days can be enjoyed laying on the grass. Nice large park so you never feel your on top of anyone else that might also be there soaking up the rare summer sun :D

Well laid out and looked after. The statues to Jimmy Guthrie and Bill McClaren are especially moving as they are proud sons of Hawick. Top place to bring young children on a dry day as they can roam around safely to their hearts content.

Our favourite park and such a treat in the middle of Hawick. Can't wait to see the developments now that the HLF money is in place and staff have been recruited to take the project forward.

No matter the season Wilton Lodge Park offers a beautiful changing environment. Daffodils in Spring, delightful flower beds in Summer, red, brown and golden leaves in Autumn and crispy snow and frost in Winter. A great place to explore and walk through the avenue of trees or by the River Teviot. Visit the museum and gallery , enjoy a cup of coffee in the cafe, play a round of putting, relax on one of the many benches , become involved either as a participant or a spectator in a rugby or football game , or take the children to the swing park. The war memorial is award winning and unusual and there are impressive statues of local famous townsmen, namely Jimmy Guthrie and Steve Hislop, both motor cyclists and Bill McLaren the radio and TV rugby commentator A friend who recently visited the Park compared the experience to visiting Kew Gardens! And there is no entrance fee.

Lots of lovely walks with plenty of plants and trees to look at as you go, also statues - the latest being Bill McLaren our rugby hero! During the summer there is a super little cafe selling teas, soup, paninis and home baking. Also during the summer there's Crazy Golf & a Bouncy Castle. I love Wilton Lodge Park!
